I think unless you have the most perfect eyesight and able to track a fly in mid-air, you'll won't see subtle cursor movement display changes as it's being tracked. Most of you are old dudes, probably even suffering from the onset of Presbyopia...

And those companies that advertise their mice with 8K polling rates, are literally just exploiting consumers' ignorance.
And do keep in mind that when you have a certain polling rate, most computers won't interpret all of that and that little adapter you use, which you got with the mouse, actually converts the 8K, probably even 4K rates to much lower. The whole thing is a gimmick.
