How's the CPU temps for you guys?

Personally, even if I put the game on the lowest graphical settings, the CPU (i13900k) temperature goes between 75-83, and the GPU (4090) around 50-55 on 1440p 144 fps.

I've tried every performance option available, and nothing seems to change that.

How are you guys faring and is there something I can do in-game to lower the temps?

I managed to get my temps down to 70-73 by putting max FPS to 120, and then back to 144. For whatever reason that lowers them despite keeping 144 fps.

Unfortunately this game will throttle most CPUs at 100% usage due to poor real-time shader optimizing. DX12 still has its quirks unfortunately.

Those temps are all fine. Overheat protection doesn't even start until 100+

You are running the game at 120 fps and complaining about 70c? LoL that is normal...

for an intel 13th gen seem fine,you guys heat up your whole house when using these half the time

I9-13900KF, RTX 4090, water cooling and 9 fans ... CPU 99°C according to MSI Center & HWMonitor
Runs stable at 60FPS (i play on a TV) on Ultra settings but that CPU Temp is absurd.

Before anyone says "Fix your pumps, heatsink etc.", no. Helldivers 2 had this too when it launched, not anymore due to patches.

Nvidia DLSS Quality, Ultra Settings, 60FPS, 3080 sits at 64C and my Ryzen 7 5800X3D sits at around 73. No issues here

Exactly. I've no idea why people these days think 70° is bad while playing. Thats totally fine for ryzen cpus.
