Sadly, that's nothing new for many Intel Core 13th & 14th users when running Unreal Engine 5 and recent DX12 games.

If you are experiencing game crashes on 13th and 14th generation Intel CPUs, this may be related to hardware configuration settings.

Intel recommends using 'Intel Default Settings', while various motherboards may apply different settings by default.

You can find details on Intels recommendations in the articles below:

Here is more information about the issues and possible workarounds, read the articles below:

So, Intel or your motherboard manufacturer, or probably both, is to blame here. It's not a game issue, an Unreal Engine, or an Oodle tech issue.

Its your CPU google the issue with 13th and 14th gen intel cpus. Intel admitted a fault / issue with 13th and 14th gen cpus. You can do a bios update or use XTU software and bump the multiplier down by 2X or until it becomes stable. This isn't a dev or game issue or engine issues, I have seen it on other engines and games too.

It's an Intel issue. Should of bought a ryzen CPU

so that's why its not working to me too?

quick band aid "fix" get the intel XTU software and bump the multiplier down 2x and if that doesn't make it stable it may take up to 3x or 4x.

why would they release a game that doesnt work on updated CPUs lol

Video game developers can't fix ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hardware. Intel 13900k and 14900k are literal trashcans. Buy AMD next time.

intel release borked CPU, so it's not the problem of the game dev/ engine dev

I run a 13700K with no issues here. It's weird what's happening.
MiLo Jul 7, 2024 @ 10:14am
This issue is happening on 9th gen as well, my buddy is fuming because he can't load the game
Pixel Jul 7, 2024 @ 10:16am
Unreal 5 works great on Ryzen and terrible on Intel, but 5.4 will apparently have better mutlithreaded support for Intel? So who knows.

If you have Intel i7 13700/14700 or i9 13900/14900 can be defected CPU test via some heavy test on stock settings if failed you need send on warranty
