Nobody cares.
You aren't that interesting, and you aren't a main character.
They just want to sell your scraps of useless data to advertisers so ads on the sides of porn websites you go to are slightly more interesting for you.
What do you /think/ they want your data for?
What? You think they could use it compromise youy position at Waffle house or Burger King?
HAHAH
I'm sure it's real funny when you get random calls from telemarketers. Ever wonder how they got your number in the first place? What about spam emails? That nigerian prince didn't get your email from google. You are an absolute clown if you think companies don't see your data as giant money bags for targeted advertising.
Spam emails? Again, been going on for decades. I wouldn't blame game companies. My game only email account gets no spam...so yeah. Not sure Nexon sells it to anyone for emails.
The nigerian prince got your email a long time ago, without reaching out to nexon.
Data selling is not big money bags compared to sellilng games and mtx. Keep that in mind. You guys need to take off the tin-foil hats and live in the real modern world and have a stronger understanding of it. FUD is not healthy or helpful.
Roughly stated... but more or less true.
individual data is pennies but with enough npcs willing to give it away you make millions.
They are not collecting personal information from our computer, they just collect what you send them. How should they know your street address or full name, just from "scanning your computer"? Even your IP is given by your ISP and not printed on your house. So they could only know your region and not your exact address.
Your IP = geolocation = any software knows your city nowadays. And they log browser history which can contain name , city etc. in tersm of personal details. Not to mention that they have it anyway as soon as you buy anything.
It's crucial to remember that everyone, even those we may perceive as NPCs, have their own unique experiences and perspectives. Those who view themselves as the MC may struggle with this, but you must remember there are those who are wiser and more informed than you, even if you try to marginalize them.
The supposed millions (of what currency?) made would be pretty trivial for the company. And again, Amazon, Apple, your ISP etc, are firmly in the business of exchanging data. It is part of the world we live in. Getting overly excited over this "Korean" company is silly.
Some people know how to enjoy life wisely, others think they are the MC and end up not learning as much as they could if they accepted external information.
"They" don't care. "They" don't have individuals looking at this information. But they have tools that can help them send out messages to relevant people, its all very trivial.
The data helps their bots make better marketing decisions. No one is stalking anyone. No one cares. Don't try to make a mountain out of a molehill. It's really sad to see.
All your post are fulltime simping for the game. Definition of a chatbot.
I wasnt even specifically attacking the game. Just stating everyone does it cause its good money and you let them get away with it.
