This makes me feel silly for ever buying video games. Other game devs need to take note of this!

No. It wasn't like that when I was playing FF14.

Its free to install, let you feel good for a short while to hook you and than the traps gets triggered........ there is skins more expensive than some AAA ultimate editions...

i'd rather pay money for a game instead of being it free to play. F2p games are awful in 2024 and filled with battlepass, MTX etc. f2p games ruin the gaming market.

I'm a huge monster hunter fan. Give me one good reason WHY Capcom couldn't make the next monster hunter FREE if this dev can do it.

I will give it a try when I get home today, but I almost sure this is a game with a business model similar to mobile games: endless, lifeless grinding or a LOT of money on microtransactions.
Basically a cash grab designed to milk whales for a couple of years and be abandoned for a new cash grab afterwards.
