How much to get everthing?
I just want to know how much do I need to swipe to get my character maxed out instantly?
Is there a time gate? Like in Warframe it takes 3 days to construct a Warframe but you can buy the parts for it.
In Destiny 2 you can basically unlock content with money but you have to farm stuff, you can not buy it. But the grinding is meh. Its not huge, but its also not little. You really have to login everyday for a couple of days for a couple of weeks to get everything.

So how much or what can you buy so far in this game? Dont sugarcoat anything.

Still too early to tell at this point. Based on previous Nexon titles, the idea of 1-3 years with 6-8 hours a day isn't outside the realm of possibility to max ONE character.

They tend to place a crap ton of artificial roadblocks so players are enticed to pay ridiculous prices for things.

But who knows? Maybe they decided to do something different here. We'll probably have a better idea in a week or two.

So I did not have time to check it out, will do it today later after I am finished with my work (2 jobs).
But what do you grind for at the moment? I guess you reach max playerlevel soon? No?
Do you grind for weapon upgrades and more powerlevel? What else is there to monetize it?

the trick with these games is just dont stress about maxxing your character, play the game have a bit of fun. if you want that cleavage bunny outfit go for it. but dont turn it into a second job.

well that for sure is a good tip and very wholesome attitude, but not what I want to know.
How you wanna play a game is to each their own. Some people are very competitive some are very chill, some do care about the time spend some dont.
If I had no jobs I would also be chill and dont mind, but since I dont have much time, I do care how my time in the game turns out. So I will not play a game for long if I have to play it like a second job no matter how chill I pretend to be. I know people who spend 10hours a day in a garbage p2w game like Lost Ark and they sit on the forum lying to everyone they just casually played it and enjoy it just for a couple of hours per day. Meanwhile they are probably pushing hundreds of dollars into the game to keep up with everyone else or they got whale friends who carry them 24/7.

It's fairly similar to warframe, except the pricing points if you want to open your wallet. This is much more predatory and expensive, but it's Nexon so it was expected.

Basically, skins/frames/characters/weapons are what you grind for. You only get access to one character (you can choose from three) at the beginning. From there you need to unlock the rest of the roster. Average price is 300-900 per character with 1060 calibers running about $20 for reference.

Next is the frames/skins for characters. These can range from $30-$70 PER SKIN. You can grind them out and they're separated into the normal/epic/legendary style categorization. There are also stat boost applied to certain ones, so its a progression mechanic.

I haven't dived into weapons yet, but since the battle pass has 'legendary' weapons, I feel it will probably be the same thing.

If the grind isn't too punishing, you may be able to skip most of that cash dump. But based on Nexon's past history and titles, I'm not overly optimistic. But we shall see.

There's also a host of cosmetics, 'time skippers', resource packs, XP boosts, etc for sale that you would expect from these style of games.

I don't mind dumping the cost of a normal AAA game into things like this, think around $70-$80 if I feel like it's worth it. That at least lets me get some of the things I want right off the bat. Still trying to decide if this one is worth that, but regardless. After that investment, I wouldn't want to spend anything more on the title. It's definitely trying to rip you off.

That is probably the best method. I tend to stick with one character myself. I'm not much of an altaholic, so that usually makes it easier for me.

Which surprisingly, was why I walked away from warframe. Enjoyed the game, but since the overall level mechanic required you to use every frame it went against my normal playing style of sticking to one character.

I only have limited amounts of play time with my career the way it is, so focusing it on one character has always been a better option for me.

Oh damn, thats a bit disappointing to be honest but no dealbreaker so far.
I mean I like Warframe for the p2w mechanic because I can skip heavy grinds with buying boosters or the stuff I want from market and it does not cost much. Like 20$ here and 10$ there every now and then and I have every item I need and want. No biggy.
But if you say one skin is 30 - 70 $. Holly molly. I remember when I trashed Fallout76 for their overpriced 15-25 $ skins and how moronic a price philosophy that is. But people are like Futurama guy:"Shut up and take my money!". For someone like me who has a very decent sallary, I should not complain, but I am still from the old age gaming era where gaming was not monetized and skins and content were free patches! And games were never over 40$! lmao
What I dont like about the p2w mechanic in Warframe is that it makes you spend on boosters all the time and nearly everything that someone needs or wants is somehow gated or monetized, even if its just small. It's like, if you once start to play it with boosters and such, you will notice the low rng and the low droprate if you start playing it without afterwards.

Naw, I feel you man. I make a solid salary as well, but that poor kid I grew up as still exists deep down. And he doesn't like paying ridiculous prices for things....lol.

To be fair, they do have a trade system similar to warframes already in game. So that could potentially allow the player market to take some of that pressure off as well.

Still feeling it out. The game itself isn't bad, though. Plays fairly well, not the tightest I've seen, but still solid. The characters are interesting. The art is well done. It's sci-fi. Hoping it actually turns into something solid.

It uses similar mechanics to Warframe if you ever played that. The characters are like 20 bucks each. But currently they have discounted ticket things to obtain 1 descendant. I believe there are 3 of these with different units.

There are also Ultimate Descendants which are basically Primed versions about 60 each. Not sure how long the grind will be for those since everyone is starting out. But they have a system similar to the Void Relic system also where you run a mission and choose what item/part you want.

There are also resource boosters like extra gold and other stuff.

Its all just warframe reskinned. So think of it like that. One of the characters Bunny i got in like a hour haha. Hope this help! Sorry cant give you more in terms of farming just starting out. Personally taking it slow.
Well I will check it out, one good thing is, I am sure I will not get chat-banned if I write:
"Nezha is a trap" in chat.
Or will I?
lmao

only Warframers will understand this joke.
Holly ♥♥♥♥.
Ultimate Bunny is 99€!!!!!!!
Cause why buy normal bunny when you there is an ultimate version of the same character?
And you can not get 5000 unless you buy the 99€ version!?

idk if u can even "max your character" by swiping? dont think you can buy gold and kuiper to upgrade mods which is most of ur power.

I got chat banned once for asking why people were getting chat banned for asking about Nezha before... Really weird that.
