No PlayStation Buttons?
I played using my PS5 controller, but the buttons displayed in-game are the XBox controller buttons.

Ah, fixed it. It's actually Steam itself that changed the button display.

how did you end up fixing this? is it just making sure dualsense support is enabled/disabled in game properties > controller settings?

What I did was I went to Steam>Settings>Controller and changed the PlayStation Controller Support from "Enabled" to "Enabled in Games w/o Support".

Apparently the "Support" is changing the button display to XBox Controller Buttons for PC Gamers.

I play with my PS5 controller with Type-C cable attached. Haven't try it in wireless mode.

The correct way to change your button display is to go to your library and right click the game (that supports the controller), go to properties, go to controller and disable steam input in the dropbox. Thank me later

I love you so much right now. this has been driving me crazy. Changing the steam settings was doing nothing. I often switch between xbox and playstation controllers for whatever game im playing. Each has their own merits for every game. This was a life saver.
Hey just a quick question I've tried all the things listed along with messing with all the settings and it doesn't seem to ever show ps4 controls instead of Xbox so is there anything I might be missing?
