Game closing after EAC pop up. It show Easy Anti Cheat, then preparing the game, loading a while and closing. No error, nothing.

same here, sometimes my game stars, after loading i get out of memory (64gb ram, RTX 4080 super 16gb) so it is no possible...

Hey guys, I think I found my fix, I went to regedit and got it fixed. I followed this video.

I just searched for the error I got which was
"Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION writing address"

Unfortunately as soon as I got it fixed and I finally managed to launch the game, its currently under maintenance and the server is down so I still can't play.

Did you enter 90 value in both TdrDdiDelay and Tdr Delay like in the clip? And you pass the Easy Anti Cheater splash further? Because your first post state that you had EAC splash and nothing else, how did you manage to get that error in the first place because i don't have any error pop up?

Yes I followed the video exactly. But this might have worked for me only, because I remember messing with graphic settings from regedit before. I also found an extra file that shouldn't be there by default and I deleted that. So that could have been the reason for me.

If you are not sure what your error is, steam would auto copy and paste the full error message to your clip board. After EAC closes and nothing happens try pasting the error message some where and search google for the first line of your error. For me it was something along the line of "fatal error Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

Hmm i can't find my error because nothing happens. Just closing EAC and i don't see anything. Is there some file or smth to check error reports in steam?

1) clear downloads cache in steam (steam settings -> downwloads -> CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE)
2) then verify integrity of The First Descendant
3) add to launching options (general tab of tame in library):

After EAC closes trying pasting in a text doc. (Ctrl V) you should see the error message.

Yes at this point, there is absolutely no point in spending any money in this game rn until they fix everything and it becomes stable to actually play in the long run. I was hyped for this game until today was finally able to play and already encountered two server crash, in one single day. At this point I can't take this game seriously any more LUL.
