Keybind Issues

Handicapped and do not use Keyboard, I use a Keypad. cannot bind the keys. Game is trash if it cant utilize equipment that gamers use.

Some people have had success UNBINDING first, then rebinding. I am looking for files to hard edit, I will be back if I find the solution. The only thing not working for me is I can't rebind "G". I was able to edit RMB to move forward, which most games block.

I can't figure out how to over ride keys. There is a switch called POSITIVE and NEGATIVE, but I believe the game has hard coded a number of things outside of this file because I edit them according to the format, and nothing happens.

Hopefully they address it asap. Game is unplayable.

cool. thanks for the effort. I actually did a work around binding, and bound the Kepads 08 , 12, 13, 14 keys which equates to wasd on a normal keyboaard and changed them to jklh, and told the game to accept the movements as the new keybinds set on the keypad to deceive them to be wasd. so now when i press W, its actually U.

I was confused at first too , but it worked. Too bad the arrow keys just outright are not accepted as keys on the keyboard. its not like the industry standard for keyboards changes from one country to another.

Thanks for the effort you put in to resolve this, better than the developers for sure.

oddly enough I can't set skill 1 to Y... buy use to Y

I had the same issue. Mine was resolved by remapping the keybinds where, the keys you want to use, are mapped already to something else. Then map them to the correct action. The game does not resolve duplicate mappings itself, you need to do it yourself.

I tried this. Didn't work for me. I can bind the R key to something else. Emotes, consumables, Map and it works. The R key is probably restricted because of the Hold R to Reset key binding. I use R to strafe but I can't anymore. Can't play this way. Left a bad review of this game because of this. I was fun while it lasted.

search for "joytokey" it can bind any key to the controler

no thanks it should already be programed in the game, not with 3rd party software.

I'll add my dissatisfaction here. Trying to bind R to strafe left. I can enter the setting and config file is fine, but my dude just wont move left.

It's funny.. this is the third game in short time to have problems or hard coded keys in them. I'm one of those no-bind, no buy guys.

Try to add alternative keys (it’s the second column on the setting page) rather than to change existing. Actually, remapping works, but when something is hardcoded then the second key is the solution

Thank you for the suggestion. I did try that, but it made no difference.
