The First Descendant
this game is very hot.
after I played for 30 minutes I was able to make breakfast on my computer, the egg cooked in literally 10 seconds and the water boiled in 30 seconds.

Your computer is obviously a potato, you did check the system requirements right?
mine is even more of a potato. From 2015 with a GTX 980 and I play on ultra textures and my PC just keeps cool with decent enough FPS and no stutter or lag. If anyone's PC is heating up too much it's definitely a rig problem.

i9-13900KF & RTX 4090 and CPU Temp is 99°C
Even on low settings my fans won't shut up

That doesn't seem right. I'm on high settings at 1440p, 60 fps limit, and hovering around 80c. Are you running in 4k? Accidentally switch to 8k? Did you turn on Raytracing?
CPU temp of 80 is definitely way too high already unless you're speaking fahrenheit.

CPU is undervolted, slightly oc'd. I've fine-tuned the PPT/TDC/EDC settings, and I generally don't see any temp issues, no matter a game's settings. Tonight, however, the CCD1 tdie hit 94.5C. It's rare for me to see temps above 80C so this is crazy. It should be throttling long before that. Idk what this game is doing, but I'm trying to figure it out.

mentioned this already in a previous post, but i fixed it. I limited my max CPU power usage. Look in page 4, answered to someone who had the same problem
I just leaved everythings as the game auto detect and i'm on 83-86 on GPU and 50 on CPU. It's the normal i thinks on game nowday, we have beast GPU that heats a lot unless you use god fan or water cooled system.

I've had to limit framerate before, but that isn't inherently a bad thing to do when games attempt to generate 500+ fps uncapped. I capped this game at 144fps and had very high temps. Changed to 60fps and temps remained unchanged.
However, it seems counterproductive to limit your overall cpu capacity for a single instance. I'm going to launch the game running procmon and maybe see what's using so much cpu. That could pinpoint a source.
Also, maybe test some ue5 launch commands.
i have a 5600x and a gtx 1080ti, my gpu is always at 88/89°C and crash for overheating so How Loseless Scaling can help if it does help? My gpu overheat only in this game
I think it's come down to the issue being cooling. The game itself uses a lot more CPU than it really should be but to prevent overheating it's best to make sure you have a case that get's adequate air flow. Also make sure your AIO fans blow air ON the radiator and exhaust out the case. As long as you have adequate airflow you should be good with the temps. The H6 Flow from NZXT has the best airflow on the market next to the 4000D from corsair. These days you should also have at least one fan blowing air directly in onto the GPU. IDK, the solution is airflow. Most of you seem to be rocking an AIO and forget airflow still matters. lol
