game crashing + freezing pc during startup

32gb ram

Some said its a VRAM issue, but I've seen demo/gameplay betas running on 3070ti.

If anyone finds a solution, thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. I found a crash log in which it says "Could not decompress shader group with Oodle" Run HWMonitor when starting the game and after the crash check if the CPU is overheating.

The game freezes at the screen "Press Enter to start". Tried again 6 times but still had the same problem. Unplayable!

My OS just crashed during a mission while playing the game on max settings with high shaders. 4 players in mission, 1 of them a friend.

I have an Intel cpu on an MSI motherboard. I turned off Enhanced Turbo Technology in the BIOS and the game works.

My PC ran it just fine just now, my first test run, ran at 'Ultra' setting with RT at 'Medium'. My PC specs:
R7 5700X3D
2x 16GB DDR4 3600MHz
XFX MERC310 RX 7900 XTX
Windows 11 Pro 23H2
Installed in SATA SSD

Steam was opened on desktop when I started the game, but other than background programs running, I do have anything actively running.....
