Seems unhinged
I never saw a Nexon Game in the Sensor Tower Monthly Revenue Report for Gacha Games.
The only south Korea game on the Top Ten is Nikke from Shift Up.(Stellar Blade).
The others are CN or JP Gacha Games.
Maple Story and Vindictus are the only Nexon games that reached my space,
both are 10years+ old and still alive.
So No they dont cancel every game after one year.
You need to revaluate your opinions, anyway can't be a scam if i'm not paying, honestly even if it's goofy sometimes, it's at least free of political garbage i see in every game lately, plus it's pve so i don't have to deal with the cheating scum that infests pvp games.
I hope it doesn't shut down and it actually improves instead, dunno why people like you spend time and hours just to ♥♥♥♥ on games, you have like 400 pages of texting, do you even play videogames or you spend all of your time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on them?
Again need you revaluate your life i guess, just a tip. Do whatever you want afterwards.
Sometime the first launch doesn't go as planned and the game gets shut down. Some come back after changing things. Like any other online game you can get burned. Enjoy it while you can. Spend money if you think it will be worth it.
I remember the first western launch of DFO got shut down. Spent about $80 total. When the game came back they gave away some free stuff and eventually I had earned more in-game than what I had before. Of course that isn't always the case but it is what it is.
Graphics looking more like UE3 not at all as UE5 (devs skills here i bet is the cause).
Every "descendant" have mixed powers stolen from the Warframe abilities from different avatars! (nothing unique, no creativity).
The issues with the monetisation is bad, especially if you decide to spend money and you wont get your delivery of the digital goods you paid for.
Wont call the game a scam but actually a cheap rushed one which to produce income for the company in the typical lifetime span of such a game. The prices r exaggerated & fishy (you need to spend way more to get something which is ~40% lower than what you actually depozited to pay for, which make the customers to call it a scam, well it is a scummy move & it is not the only one).
I would say give it a try, test it out, but don't go to crazy about it or you will regret it. Respect your time, money and play something more worthy+decent than this IF all this elements r bothering you (and this r barely a percent of "how to not make a game" you discover in TFD).
I wouldn't say running, more like crawling.. Nexon completely killed that game by following certain policies but in a dumb way..
Look at the reviews , it's another Nexon scam
Hence why it would've been better if it was any other company besides Nexon to make such a game.. Nexon doesn't give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ about their playerbase anyway, never had and never will.. They are only happy if you buy their overpriced skins..
Pretentious and disingenuous banned one is playing the game. Mad mad world :)
So, don't spend money? The game is free-to-play, just play for free, and if they close the serves, you lost nothing. By the way, you got banned... Nice.
