Fun Fact 95% of all Nexon Games has been shut down a year right after people spent their money
This is a Korean Pay 2 Win Gacha company they have a long list of games just like this with bland cheaply made environments attempting to sell cosmetics the coomer type skins and then they shut down the game a year later they have been doing this for years.

In fact Nexon is so bad they released DNF Duel for PC and then immediately abandoned it when asked why, they said they were afraid it might fail so they didn't want to spend any money for a season pass

Then when they realized the game actually was selling well they decided to make a season pass and support it for 1 year and then abandoned it again when asked why the hell did you abandon it a second time even tho the first season pass sold well they said they are scared the second season pass might fail.

They do this with all their games except DFO

I did a bit of research on Nexon, there is a hand full of games that shut down servers early, I see they mainly made mobile games, only lately they seem to be focusing on console/PC games. If you look at the Wikipedia link you can see what I am talking about, I don't know why the original post has so much hate.

1. It is a free to play game, at least you have a choice to play it without dropping a dime and if it closes then you are still not out of pocket.

2. If someone wants to spend money on it is a personal choice.

3. Nexon has every right to close a game down if it is not profitable.

4. There will always be upset gamers, if you don't like the company, don't try and bait/gaslight people in feeling the same as you do, everyone has a free choice to decide that for themselves.

5. Putting Trump in a comment about a game has no relevance, no one cares what your grievance with a public figure is. You could have used many examples but you chose to use Trump, don't whine about it when people point that out.

6. If you are going to make accusations, back it up with facts, no one is going to believe you because you posted something.

I am excited to play this game, but still weary on the longevity, in the meantime I will enjoy the ride until it stops.
They, or someone else who clearly wants to keep their image clean, scrub their Wikipedia page, so it's actually not a good source. For example, any mention of Hyper Universe was removed from the Wikipedia page after that game was shut down, specifically in this edit:

imagine being so sad you are trying so hard to discourage people from playing this game, if you don't wanna play then get lost and don't play, no one will care. if me or someone else spends money on the game its a personal choice, even if the game does close down in a year its still worth the price of a skin or two for the many hours of gameplay i will put in. Also its free to play, no one is forcing you to buy anything, just play the game normally and enjoy free content.

if they shutdown after a year why would they have put so much effort into making a nice looter shooter in first place maplestory mmo by nexon 20+ years and is still making them money so its still around lol

Maple Story (Daughter plays it. I drop a few bucks into it for her now and then.)
Mabinogi
Vindictus (Although I haven't played in over a year. Was great for the first few years.)
Blue Archive (Daughter plays this as well but she lets me mess around with it if I drop a few bucks in Maple Story for her. Little extortionist.)
The Finals (Meh. Played it on and off for a few weeks. Cut&Paste FPS.)

They've had some decent games and the newer stuff seems to show their learning. in a few more hours we'll see if they've learned their lessons.

Who cares, if you're smart don't spend money. If you're dumb spend so we can laugh at you when you throw a fit when they discontinue service next year.

Its something to play until everything else releases later this year.

I'm fairly certain, Maple Story, The Finals, and several other fairly successful games are from Nexon. so your whole title is FALSE, not FACT, you're very confused.

You are right.. we will Loose everithing when they shut down..
This leads us to a realy interisting question.. when is soon and/or what is soon ?
In therms of the universe it is just a blink.. But for a mayflies it could be hundrets of lives !
For us it could be like they shut it down in lets say a year.. so iff i payed like 20 bucks for ingame cash then i had one year fun for 20 bucks.. its a good deal dont you think ?
