Easy Anti Cheat complained about NVidia physxupdateloader64.dll being untrusted. Solution for those who don't have NVidia cards.

I launched the game early, hoping to adjust audio, graphics, and keybind settings. When I closed the game, I received an error message from EAC, claiming "physxupdateloader64.dll" was an "untrusted system file". I have an AMD graphics card, so I don't get automatic updates for physX from GPU updates. There are a few solutions for this error.

Try only one solution at a time. Suggested order is 1, then 2, then 3. The first solution worked for me but I am posting others that have been reported to work for the same issue.

1. Update physX. You can find stand-alone drivers by searching the internet.

2. Update EAC. Follow the instructions in the quote box after #3.

3. Delete or uninstall physX. If a game you have installed relies on physX, it will probably stop working. New games you install should automatically install dependencies when the game is installed.

Go to the system disk where you installed the game, C:\Program Files (x86) is the default location unless you changed its location.
Inside Program Files, you’ll see there is a folder named “Easy Anti-cheat“, delete this folder completely.
Now go to TFD installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The First Descendant). There is also a folder named “EasyAntiCheat“. Open that folder and right-click on EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup and run it as administrator.
Choose The First Descendant if it prompts and click on the repair button. It will take some time to complete repair process. Wait for it.

Crazy that its still not fixed i fixed that with EAC repair but after pc restart it was crashing with same error again. Trying out PhysX update now

Yeah updating PhysX didnt work it also seems the EAC installer in First Descendant isnt working as its closing right after opening

the Physx worked for me only issue i have now is the game crashes on start up when i go to head to the main character screen so i have to change graphic settings to fix it

One thing I did to fix my issue was, to swap character in the main menu then I was able to load into Albion. The first thing they should fix before season 1 is those little issues.

i'm having to delete EAC and reinstall it every time i load the game. I've had no issues since launch and all of a sudden it just started doing it.
the only thing that has changed with my pc is that i uninstalled a few games from my steam library then this started happening.

well after doing this 3 times, the game just no longer works. reinstalling EAC doesnt do anything anymore.
