They could also be reduced feature level to 11_1 or 11_0 etc. Type run on windows search then dxdiag. Check display tab, it will show you what feature levels it does support. Let me know what feature levels are there.
Weird because my machine runs AC6 and Lies of P (both Direct X 12 required) flawlessly. Ah well, not like it cost anything, hope the devs fix this though would like to try the game at least.
The standard DirectX 12 should even run with a DirectX 11 GPU.
But there also is DirectX 12 Ultimate, which has a greater feature set.
Full support for this is with GeForce-20 Series or RDNA 2 (Radeon RX 6000) and higher.
Hard to say what exactly The First Descendant requires.
It does not support DX12 Ultimate, what could be the issue here.
EDIT: If it worked for the Beta, maybe the Devs could tell what exactly was changed.
Maybe its a feature that can be disabled before launching the game.
