There's mods for Fallout 76. It's not unheard of but anti-cheats usually prevents them from happening at all which Fallout 76 doesn't have (at least nothing invasive).

Helldivers 2 has Anti-cheat but they have mods for that game. FF14 also has mods, and even WoW had mods last time I played. Don't see why this game won't have any. We'll just have to wait and see

the diffrence is the game is a "life coop game" its not a all game data is stored online on a server cloud like a normal live service game how we know it. hard to explain is small words. but yes it is a "life game" but not as we know it.

Too stubborn to admit that you are wrong? :steamfacepalm: F76 is a live service game with local files, TFD is a live service game with local files. Every normal PC game comes with local files unless it is a cloud based game.

Also, people mod even MMORPGs and technically cheats are mods too. I am not saying that someone will mod TFD, but nothing can stop modding if someone REALLY want to mod something.

Nope, Fallout 76 is a live service and you're unable to play it offline.

The base skins already look like the mods from other games (see Ult Bunny), we don't need no stinking mods :lunar2019piginablanket:

is it? i was sure that it was just a server host to enable online play but im also not 100% sure right now. meaning you can mod the files because the game dont check them with the server data bank and check if modifyied.

You misunderstood something im youre mistakenly mix addons for your example mmorpg's with mods (that fundamentally can change the game) i wanna be sure we talk about the same. we do talk about Mods (like swaping npc's with talking cars for example and not Addons (that add a funktionality like a compass for the user that instslled it only), right?

Dude, you could swap models and textures in WoW until they encrypted all the local files and i think you can still do this in BDO. Here are your true client-server games. No sane game checks every local file all the time, some of them do this from time to time when you launch or patch them and that's it.

I won’t respond to you anymore, it’s clear to me that you are very arrogant or just stubborn person. :steamsad:

They "allow" modding like UI, Textures, Sounds. The moment you start messing with weapons or character enhancements you'll be game banned pretty fast.

"mods"..... In a F2P online game where they'll be trying to sell you loads of cosmetics; that has not one, but two layers of invasive anti-cheat ......yeh, not likely lol :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
