doom 2016 was available to preload in the past in remember and it's not the only one
it's just up to the devs of the game to use that feature
here the email is misleading because the devs decided to release the game earlier but to open the servers at the release date, it's sorta of a preload but not the preload feature available to devs by valve
and that's why i said 'by default' all those possibily you are talking about need to be set up manualy unlike the default behavior.
Usually a preload just becomes available. You don't get an email saying the game has released until it actually has released.
Like people who stand with Ukraine?
Apparently you're "braindead" and a "40 IQ" for not knowing automatically that what they're telling you isn't true.
Thankfully less then 48 hours to wait.
The fact that you can post a review for the game means they messed up somewhere.
Game can only played later at the announced date since it has to be in sync with all the other gaming platforms, ahem consoles.
Of course, gamers can launch the game if you preload, thus it "works". Just content is blocked by a timer. lol.
"HE POINTED OUT SOMETHING THAT I WAS TOO ILLITERATE TO READ MYSELF, HE A CLOWN!!!"
bro wtf...
that's new too, you know. Steam preloads you can't run. But this is not a Steam preload, so ok. They just should leave the July 2nd on the store page. And put a big orange warning banner that the game servers will open on July 2nd. Like every solid publisher does.
If you look on the Store page, it states June 30th and Play Game. If you go to the Xbox or PlayStation Stores, they both say Release Date 30th June.
If it it's a Pre-load or Pre-Install, it should say so and the date on the Store page should say July 2nd. Like the way it is on Xbox/PlayStation and EA/Ubisoft launchers for games coming soon.
Maybe they ARE bringing the release forward then?
