Server Locations - Australian server?

Hey all,
Played the beta a while back and it didn't have an Australian server. Have they disclosed server locations for release version? Really hope they support more regions.

I think the closest server is in Asia, My ping was fine playing all three beta's. No lag or rubber banding issues.

Unfortunately for us a lot of devs wont setup servers in Australia because the player base just isn't high enough to justify the running cost. But if what F2P Veteran said is true we should hopefully be able to play without much trouble.

i would say it was because of the constant attack from rabid ostrich and monkey shooting poison from their elbow. but that would be conspiracy theory about how mad of a place australia seem to be.

dunno where the servers are but i played both betas and the final test. no problems.

The game uses Amazon Web Services. No regional servers required.

Had no issue with the beta. Ran smooth.

I played one of the betas on PC and another on PS5 and both had some lag. Definitely not local servers, more like Asia I'd say.

What does this even mean? Servers have to be somewhere, and the lag that I had during the betas indicated that there wasn't one here in Australia. So yea, you can play, but no it's not the ideal situation.

Devs still choose the data centres where servers are ran from, not Amazon. If they don't setup to use an OCE one, then there won't be one.

I played all betas with no problem, I didn't see any issues with lag.

No oce but either it was asia or Singapore and while the ping was a little bit annoying it was more then playable

Most Oceanic Servers are based out of Singapore, I am in Aust. and the betas were smooth, no real ping issues at all, if that is your concern.
