I also saw Anthem, but I remember Anthem died.
remnant is a "soulslike" third person shooter, much slower than tfd.
warface is doodoo, don't bother.
can't say anything about the rest, never played them.
I'm currently playing Anthem while waiting for this game. It's not dead. I mean yeah development of the game is finished but some people still playing it. Sad that game is actually fun and still looks great. I think it would be a success if it was F2P and someone else did it other than Bioware. I feel like people were too harsh on it back in 2019 because it's not a typical Bioware game.
None of the other games are similar on your list.
I'm also gonna try Destiny 2, it's free-to-play, even if isn't FPS (120Gb, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥).
Anthem isn't on Steam, so I don't care.
Actually I'm looking for a game to play while waiting for The First Descendant release, I don't want to pay for game that I won't put time and effort into it.
People are saying Warframe, but they are very different and are nothing alike lol.
This game is a carbon copy of Warframe's gameplay and gameplay loop complete with real world crafting timers and "ultimate" characters aka Prime Warframes. 4 abilities with the 4th one being an "ultimate", 4 man squads, weapons and characters leveling up to allow space for more mods to make them stronger, being able to reset the level of gear to be able to put in a slot that matches a mod's type to make it cost less to slot (aka Forma), etc. The list goes on.
The biggest Destiny inspiration I saw was the missions being basically Patrols and the play space being public, everything else was basically lifted from Warframe save for the big boss enemies.

The next closest thing would be Division. Less arcadey in feel, but I found a lot of fun with it (both 1 and 2) for many hours before I had enough.
You're of course correct, and I'd agree Id treat it as a solo player experience but it requires online access to play it. I should have stated the multiplayer aspect of it is dead, unless of course you are playing with people you already know. Either way, I had a great experience with it.
