THIS F2P GAME IS MADE BY NEXON

Nexon has shut down their California studio earlier this year, shut down MapleStory 2, shut down Peria Chronicles, gave up publishing rights to Dragon Nest, Riders of Icarus and Dungeon Fighter Online.

Outside of MapleStory, Mabinogi and Vindictus, they have shut down pretty much every title they've released up until this point and squeezed every penny they could get before doing so.

Just keep that in mind when this game launches...

Thing is. People see others that do way more damage, can clear way harder content even though they're low level or whatever kind of boost you can imagine you can get from paying and they think they either must pay too or they need to quit the game because for whatever reason, they can't enjoy the game anymore because others pay to have early access to harder content. Let me tell you something. Most f2p games are still made with that in mind which means you still can get to the endgame without paying. Yeah it will take longer but what is that term "longer" anyway? You can't look at people that invest 1000-100000000 bucks and think that you can be just as fast as them. Can you still do and enjoy the content WHICH IS SUPPOSED FOR YOUR LEVEL? Then why should you worry about something like this? Sure thing, PvP etc. MUST be normalized. No arguments there. p2w should not be in PvP. But what about PvE? Is it really p2w? But who is the one paying winning against? Against AI? Nice. So yeah, microtransactions are not bad as long as you're not really FORCED to buy them to be able to play normally.

At least it should mostly be PvE so you won't get banged by some guy who paid to level up faster and buy better guns
I just hope you won't have like, « 30 days weapon loan » garbage stuff that only a few f2p games (mostly asians/korean games) still have and belong to an era that's now a couple decades old

It's Nexon so we still need to be cautious. I still kinda like them just like I kinda like NCSoft too, but they can be real ♥♥♥♥. Just be aware of who they actually are, don't be surprised, the moment they ♥♥♥♥ up we either spam the ♥♥♥♥ out of them and try to have them react, or just leave the game, but we should never spend a single dime on predatorial practices.

IKR in my post I didn't even say I blindy trusted any of those companies I just have better "expectations" in "comparison" to Nexon. His first sentence is such a blanket statement that applies to literally any game be it f2p or not? Should every logical person expect every f2p game to be p2w, probably but to what degree? Warframe a f2p game that's p2w but not to a degree that the game's identity is synonymous to p2w unlike Diablo Immortal. Whats better yet is that his original post " Might as well be cautious of every studio with f2p games that shuts them down if their not profitable." is the most funny 180 I've ever seen saying you should give f2p games a chance then completely talks about all the f2p games that are bad AFTER they've come out.

I can literally only think of the creators of Warframe as the only company people probably wouldn't laugh at and thats not even AAA company. Almost every AAA company has made flops that people will never forget and more games people dislike like Destiny 2. I mean, i get what people are saying but man, if its f2p and fun to play, then play it as long as you feel to not put money in. Actually, that was pretty doable in the beginning of Vindictus too. Oh and to compare yourself with others that swipe like there is no tomorrow, then its your own problem. So yeah, as long as it is fun and you can play it without problems without the need to pay, then i'll test it and play it. Actually, can't wait to play it because i really liked Vindictus and yeah.. lets see where this one is going :D

Well if you aren't bothered with your invested hours of grinding disappearing, just play till the highly probable chance of servers being shutdown. Nice graphics can only do so much, repetitive gameplay will burn out most of the gamer base in 1 week...

One hint given by the recent previewers: You can't queue for certain activities solo even if your character can handle it, so Nexon already plan the metrics of an impending doom.
