Alright guys, I had the same issue with the finals and I found a fix that worked for me. I have a 4070 and a 14900k, I tried everything from full reinstalls of drivers, turning xmp and other settings off in the bios. Verifying files. If you have a newer pc with a newer intel cpu I'd suggest this fix that worked for me.
!. You need to go into your bios and turn off under voltage protection on your cpu.
2. You need to download Intel Extreme Tuning Untility.
3. Go to advanced tuning.
4. Set your Active Core Tuning Ratios to 54x
Some people have also been running into problems with direct x 12 I'd try -dx11 in the game start properties.
Also make sure your gpu virtual memory cache is set to at least 12000mb-30000mb, I run mine at 192000mb for maximum performance.
Hope this helps anyone running a newer pc who is frustrated with the game not being able to boot and run.

I found a solution and wanted to share with you guys after 4 days of applying everything from reducing cores, dx11, regedit, reinstalling game, reinstalling gpu driver. The solution is simple SWITCH RESOLUTION SCALING METHOD TO AMD FSR2 - BALANCED. BTW I HAVE RTX 4070. Enjoy :)

Dayuumm bois, ik this might be a sh1tty game due to issues and multiples solutions around Google (Some of them does not work)... However, I got an "amduw23g stopped responding" and then UE5 crashes too, but the issue only happened to me playing 'The Finals'.

At the end of the day, this game is not well optimized (Tested BF2042 for multiples hours and no issues)

I hope we receive a new patch ASAP to fix these crappy performances.

Closed chrome after looking for a solution and turned off DLSS and stopped crashing altogether. Game isnt optimized for sure.
