Feels grindy but on the plus side the season lasts over 90 days so that's 3 resets a year (roughly).
Personally I'm more in favour of a generous battlepass that can be knocked out in a week to prioritise fun over predatory psychology. It would certainly encourage me to buy the battlepass as I'll be confident I'll actually finish the thing so I can get all the stuff instead of looking at the grind and thinking "instead of grinding this to the point of all fun disappearing I could play literally anything else".
Really wish more devs would learn from Deep Rock Galactic about how to do monetisation and battlepasses so the devs get money and the game gets engagement without turning the game into a second job and avoiding FOMO (fear of missing out).
Let me put it this way:
- I've bought every premium DLC for Deep Rock Galactic on day 1, because the value is good, they're inexpensive and released infrequently.
- I'm currently not spending a cent on The Finals because I ain't spending money FOR A CHANCE of getting all the battlepass unlocks and premium currency bundles are currently scummy because they're not portioned to get exactly the amount you need.

Battlepass: 14 Weeks: 98 days
9,000xp required per Level x 96 Levels = 864,000xp (Assuming every level is 9,000xp)

Dailies: 12,000xp
Weeklies: 20,000xp
5 Games: (2 wins: 3 losses) (Quickplay): 8250xp (1 hour)

(Not missing any contracts and playing at least X number of hour)
1 Hour: 22,000xp/day = You have to play for 39 days
2 Hours: 30,250xp/day = 29 Days
3 Hours: 38,500xp/day = 22 Days

Im level 6 almost 7 and i ahve done 4 weeklies and daily quests twice, doing all 5 dailies which can be done in 2 - 3 games gives 12k so over a level although it might only be 4k extra because of a special daily?

so without that its about 8k per day not including weeklies.

Looking at what zetic says it makes sense, so if you only play for 1 hour per day you only need to play 40 out of 96 days and you can simply play when you want and get as much exp as you want.

Its not even remotely the grindiest one.
