Can you play this game with your friends?

Can you? Or is it just one of those standard F2P games where you can't actually decide how you want to play it?

Is the only way to play with friends to join with 2 others and then join in to random matches? Or can I actually fill a game with ONLY teams of my friends and play those guys in a "tournament" and find a winner?

You can invite 2 friends to play on the same team, and you will play against randoms.

It's not possible to play against friends.

Why would you expect the game to matchmake you with friends when you can invite those friends to your lobby? Do you mean matchmake against friends?

I don't mean matchmaking at all. I want to boot up the game at our upcoming LAN party, start a lobby or whatever you call that in today's "gamer" lingo and play the game with the 20 people at that LAN party. I don't want to make 7 teams at our LAN and then have each team play random people on the INternet.

If all we can do is the same as every other F2P game that isn't Fall Guys, then the game just isn't interesting in that context and I don't want to waste anyone's time and resources installing it.

Yeah, sorry, I've never launched this game and I don't play F2P games in general and I don't use terms they use because I'm used to playing games where you press "Start game" or "host game" - but obviously this game isn't one I'm hosting. So can I make a custom lobby or is this yet another one of those games that you can't play if you have more friends than 2 to 4?

Except custom lobby is a common term used in all online games for 20 years. So you are probably just an ultra boomer.

Brother, you’re saying free to play like it’s some mobile ♥♥♥♥ game. The vast majority of top games are free to play but they make infinitely more than a paid game. Because they sell overpriced ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to play isn’t a marker of a bad game. It’s just a new business model that’s been extremely profitable over the past 5 or so years.
