The battle pass is egregiously long to grind out

Level 1 was borderline acceptable, 10,000 XP - level 2 is a further 13,000.

If this trend continues, I'm looking at over 50,000 XP per level by the time I reach level 16.

This is impossible to do in 10 days, and even at 13k per level, it's harsh.

Please rethink this system - it's ridiculous.

I have a family so play limited and a battlepass that involves a huge grind is pointless for me.

Yup, 60 hours a week and people to cook for means very little time to grind out an obnoxiously long pass.

Battlepass systems across the games are egregious.
You either pay with your money or with your time, and usually you tend to pay a lot of your time to unlock all its rewards because no one is spending upwards of 100$ to "finish" it day one.

Not even mentioning them being limited time for no reason, and if you ask me that makes me reconsider even buying it or even engaging in games that offer such battlepasses (most of modern live service games).

One of the reasons of me quitting Valorant is the strict time it took for me to complete my battlepass. It required too much time (and god forbid you have some real life issues to take care of instead of grinding for it) and the next thing you know is that you do not have enough time left to complete it.

Why can't we have permanent battlepasses in our games? Just make them permanent , and when the next battlepass is out , let the players decide where their XP from matches go towards. Simple as that , and none of that FOMO crap. If the battlepass is 2 seasons old , make it get 2x XP from matches instead.

Look at how Wayfinder does it , you buy the battlepass and you get to keep it forever ( you get one key every 5k experience to unlock battlepass nodes).


PS: Take a shot of vodka each time you see "battlepass" written , *cough* battlepass.

huh...it's maxed out already and I only had 10 hours in. That's not usually the case for other games that have battle passes.

that's not how world work, the seller present his pack, you like it , you buy , you don't like it , don't give money, choice is yours
it's not your right to force your choice, it your right to choose to either you support it or not , it's also you right to say your thoughts, but you're not doing that , you're acting like they are stealing you, while no one forced you
so this is not exploitation, you are exploiting yourself , educate yourself and stop constantly crying about things because you really seems enjoying bending the world at your will and that's not the way to do it
