Can someone explain to me how Secure Ops mode works?
To enter the mode, we can't exceed a total of 600k worth of gear.
So how on earth did I encounter a player with a T6 helmet (600k) and a weapon worth 550k literally 5 minutes into the game?
After looting his body, I left with 1.25KK worth of loot.
And I still only got 250k at the end.
That's 5x less.
I don't know if it's worth collecting loot from players or focusing more on items on the map :/

Some people bring in lower durability armor so it lowers the value of the item. Making it possible to bring in high tier armor. Some people also use two accounts - one to bring in gear and the other brings in weapon(s). You get paid out with about 40% of whatever value you had after extraction. That value also depends on if the armor is broken or not.

Swap your armor and weapons with others over the course of the game or right before extraction to maximize the payout. Yes its worth looting and looking for rare items.
1. The game only counts what you're wearing as equipment, not whats in your bags. A very common and easy thing to do is take all the attachments off your weapon, your visor off your helmet, wrap your rig and backpack up, and shove it all in the bh1 rig and medium camping backpack (each cost 2,000) and discard these 2 things once you load in.

2. The second thing you can do is take in lower durability armor. armor value vs durability is not linear, its exponential. For example T5 samurai armor (~430k) has been repaired twice will have its durability at 76 down from 90, but its worth ~250k. It's a good way to use Worn T6 and T5 armor. Worn T6 goes into lockdown zone and worn T5 armor goes to the farm.

I do these first two things practically every game. There's no reason not to since 90% of the players do it and at this point it's and intended feature in by the devs on purpose. This games launch was 2 years ago (4 years for mobile) and theyve added new guns, new maps, new skins, nerfed the FAL into oblivion, but never changed this so it's here to stay.

The third thing is alt accounts. Although Ive not done this cause this does feel scummy, the game is free so having an alt account on your left monitor, having that guy wear in a T6 helmet and nothing else, and have the alt drop it for you once you load in is very possible.

Funny to come across this today. Just wanted you to know the good giggle this gave me. Be careful what you claim is here to stay.
