FAQ I have gathered over a month
Since there are many questions regarding this game, and some recurring ones, I decided to put together an FAQ. Please note that I will keep to the facts and not emotions.

Q: How can you play this game? It's not even out?
While true for the Steam release, it's in early access now. You can Download it and play it for free on their Website ABI Website [www.arenabreakoutinfinite.com]

Q: When will it be released on Steam?
While not confirmed by an official statement, it is most likely at the end this year, since some in-game items expire at around that date (December).

Q: Will my progress be reset upon release?
No info currently, but highly unlikely. You can buy in-game currency and gear with it, so wiping would take away what some players paid for.

Q: Can I connect my mobile account? Or play this on mobile?
Different game from "Arena Breakout Global". Those games are not connected. Setting, Maps and all that is similar, but the 2 games are not connected. (Like League of Legends and Wild Rift.)

Q: Is there a PvE or Story Mode?
Beside the quick (15 min) Intro Mission, no. There is no PvE and no Story mode at the moment.

Q: Is there a progression system?
Beside your Rank, Level (caps fast at 30), and some missions (weekly and one time missions) there is currently only your stash value. AKA how much money you have.

Q: How many maps are there?
Currently 3:
-Farm: A medium-sized map with narrow choke points and close POIs.
-Valley: A larger map with Mountains, forests and far-apart POIs
Armory: A Small 3-store CQC map completely indoors.

More maps are planned, as well as opening parts of existing maps (like armory)

Q: Is there P2W?
At the current, you can buy a 30-day "Elite Membership" (More Storage, more slots to list items on the marked list, a higher weekly listed item limit for the market), secure Cases (Storage that's safe even when you die) in 2 sizes and prices for 30 days, and in game currency. Which can be spent on gear. It can give you the edge, but it won’t make you invincible. So short answer, yes, yes, there is p2w

Q: Can I play as female?
Currently not, but planned later down the line.

Q: Is the game worth it?
It depends on you. At its core, it is a more casual extraction shooter than Tarkov (e.g., no friendly fire with guns, indicators where team-mates are, many qualities of life improvements), but it's still an extraction shooter; if you die, you die you lose your kit. The game is polished, but not unflawed. This question can only be answered by yourself watching videos or trying it out

Q: Can I play with friends?
Currently, the maximum Squad size is 4, while the undercover (playing as an NPC in disguise with random free gear) squad size is 3

Q: Can I play as Solo?
You can turn "autofill" off to play as solo, but you can face up to four-man squads. There is no lobby difference

Q: How to find people to play with?
The game has an active Discord Server, so you can try your luck there. Othere then that, there is an ingame groupfinder and an autofill option.

Q: Is the game still alive?
Without actually using statistics, it is hard to say exactly, but yes. I am never short of enemies. But there can be times when it whiffs the autofill, leaving you as a solo. There is no guarantee. I recommend the in-game "group finder." It won't save you from bad/toxic/troll players, but at least you know you won't spawn as a solo.

Q: Are there many cheaters?
It's a shooter, so cheaters are a given. The developers try their best to ban them and improve the security, but chances are high you will run into a cheater at some point. But since it's an extraction shooter with a focus on sound, positioning and map knowledge, plus the really low TTK (one bullet to the naked head), many deaths will look like the enemy has cheated, even if he just went lucky or got the upper hand in the long game

Q: Do we get compensation if we die to a cheater or bad teammate?
It's planned down the line, but currently all you get is the satisfaction of being notified that he was banned. Your teammates can carry your equipment, and if they get out, you get it back. But that's about it for now.

Q: Is there a Kill cam?
Yes, but it's not a good one. You can only watch it right after you die (with a 40-second delay), and it throws you out of the round. So you won't be able to spectate your teammates in the game afterward. Also, the Kill cam is only simulated, so it often looks out of place or like the enemy shot the air while hitting you behind cover.

I hope this helps some folk out there
