(I am mongooser on twitch) This is the most infested game with cheaters, (and i played tarkov early on, yes it is worse than that was) past "normal" the game is unplayable. I can show you my stats as well, 1000 raids, looted over 100 million, and i have 20 mil in koen.

There is no problem with money as long as you play normal. But if you ever play lockdown or higher, (you have to play lockdown after a certain point to gain more rank points) about 30-40% of your deaths will be from cheaters, I can show you this live. Just look at what the devs admit themselves, each week they ban 10,000 - 12,000 cheaters, think about that, EVERY WEEK, and it does not even put a dent into the total number of cheaters.

If you still feel you have to play this, that's cool it is no skin off my back at all. BUT PLEASE for your own sanity, play it for 2 months before you put a single penny into this game. If you feel its good after 2 months then put money into it. Don't waste the money up front like i did, I paid for 2 months of elite and 2X3 case...

It is a money trap: the cheaters kill you and you have to put real life money in the game, so they do not get all of your stuff when you die,(a case) then if you play normal to grind money so you can play lockdown again, you have to pay more real life money for storage and to be able to sell more items.

I wont say the devs are in on it, because i have no proof, but just know you can buy koen (in game currency) with real life money to buy things when the cheaters have stolen everything you earned... This game is an epic fail YOU were warned...

P.S. I do not really plan to continue to play this game, however will keep it installed in case someone would like to see all the cheating for themselves, just let me know...

Great write-up! I picked up this game about a week ago after giving Tarkov a few tries. I felt totally lost in Tarkov, but this game clicked for me pretty quickly. I'm level 15 now and have been hooked ever since.

Up until last night, I was breezing through raids. Now, I'm starting to wonder if they're adding AI PMCs because some of the players seem suspiciously bad, even for someone like me who's not exactly good. Lately, I've been getting killed right away in normal raids. Level 30s rush my spawn and take me out before I can react. The other day, I got knifed by someone using that same tactic, and I was of course its when I was using slugs in my shotgun!

I still don't know everything, but I've got the general idea. Do you think Tarkov is a better game than this? Should I switch back? I can't decide if I should invest my time and money in this one or Tarkov.

The game is 500% harder to play now and the last 2-3 weeks than whole beta and start of alpha , everyone is decked out with the most expensive bullets and gear and everyone knows all the hiding spots and glitching spots in the game , its just a total toilet fest at this point and almost impossible to play , imagine how bad it is for new players....

they should have released all 3 new maps months ago to avoid this stale mate where everyone is choke pointing every stage of the maps or running paths and hills and glitched mountains and bushes , buildings and roofs

people know every single META in the game , as well as every single position on all maps to out play the enemy by camping

on top of all that , ADD CHEATERS and THERMAL squads and devs who have no clue how to run this game , its a lose , lose , lose shjituation

I am so sorry, but I cannot help you with this, after a friend and I saw all the cheating in Tarkov, we walked away and never came back. This was years ago so I don't know the state of the game today. Under the hood ABI is an awesome game, however the cheating just destroys it...

This guy has hardly played the game, 140 hours? don't make me laugh....

I have about 1000 raids, far beyond this guy, I play some normal, mostly lockdown, never play forbidden.

I can tell you for certain, after about 1000 raids, I can count perhaps 2-3 deaths I have been suspect.

I have had 2-3 people banned for griefling/loot stealing, but the cheater issue really is not an issue in this game, nor is p2w, this guy has skill issues and probably thinks anyone who killed him is a cheaper, when they have a far better PC, better sound detection and better skills/brains....

Get good scrub.

I have around 650 raids and I have at least 10 verified cheaters by my report. I would say I came accross at least 3-4 times more. So there is a cheater problem, yes devs ban thousands of players it is the truth, they publish it.

What is more funny, the ai bots are also cheating time to time :) like we do not have enough cheaters.

The game the last week has had almost no cheaters at all , no clue why.... probably because the game is a dead and nobody is playing it anymore

I don't really get all the complaints except the cheating issue.
I have about 200 hours into the game at this point, mainly run lockdown.
The past 3 days I've only done lockdown valley and I am on a 9 extraction streak at the moment and have 4 failed raids since yesterday.

I mainly use MP5's or AKS's with T2-3 ammo (I dont use dum dums, I want armor pen) which I have gotten from scavs and currently sitting at 14M without a paid case or elite

250 hours here. Anything past normal mode is littered with cheaters and T7 abusers. Escape from chinese trashkov is cooked lol.

Lol - are you a dev or a cheater? Certainly sounds like it. The op is right. 40% or more of lockdown+ matches have cheaters. I quite 2 months ago because of this. Hope ACE finally starts catching the cheatbros but I doubt it.
