Yeah, I think what'll end up happening is the market will be so inundated with high tier gear that no one is ever going to run low tier kits. When people can buy money, there's no scarcity to the gear. All the chads will be killing the P2W players and taking their high tier gear (or do well enough to buy new stuff off the market) and the whales will continue to shell out money to keep getting top gear and eventually, it will create a scenario where people who don't pay (and are maybe new to the game/genre/whatever) will be at a severe disadvantage to the chads and P2W whales.

how is that brain rot lol? you do realize plenty of people out there paid $150-250 for tarkov right? This is a free to play game, they had to make money somehow. Now im not going to say there isn't pay to win because from what I have read frankly it is the literal definition of pay to win.
But these cases, personally I don't see a problem with them. The game is free after all and $5/month is nothing. We're talking $60/yr it would take me 3 years to outdo what I spent for EOD. Now if I was dumb enough to buy Unheard it would literally be 4 years and 2 months before I reached $250.

Since the release of Hunt Showdown 6 years ago I have easily spent over $500 on it, and honestly, I would do it all over again. There is nothing wrong with spending money on a game you like. I don't understand that mindset when it comes to f2p games.

P2W is bad, pay for convenience not so much. These devs are still a business and at the end of the day the goal is to make money. Now we as a community just need to fight back against some of these practices by simply not buying them. Money talks.

Elite is $10, Secure box is $5, thats 15. So 180 per year and thays on top of allowing pay to win etc. So tarkov in 10 years cost 250, this in 1.5 is same and allows pay to win.

The funny thing is that it's not pay2win. You just need to spend more on bullets to be able to kill high tier armor. That's it.

You can pay $10 a month subscription for getting a secure case in your inventory as well as you can just straight up purchase currency and get any gear you want. It's definitely p2w.

It does. There were few hot fixes already. No new content if that what you mean.

Dev's said from the beginning that big content updates will go every 6 months so the first one is still on truck.

Game is bare bone at the moment but very good in its core, unlike ABI.

Gray Zone Warfare is also much bigger and more ambitious project. I'm glad MFG takes time to get it right.
