Transfer launcher to Steam account?

Hey Everyone,

Very random question. I am not a fan of another launcher or downloading that, rather wait for Steam but I had a random thought.

I am currently getting the Twitch drops for the game, but have not logged in, downloaded or played this version, only the beta. I can claim the Twitch drops on Twitch but not on the Arena website because I've not done the tutorial.

If I was to download the game via the website and do the tutorial, when the game is released on Steam, will we be signing into the same account and my stuff will be there because I've predone it or no, they are separated and might as well just wait to claim it all.

I'm guessing yes, and steam version will probably use launcher as well.

I would argue the same, from experience with other games, it is most likely that you will be prompted to a login screen which requires your account, or there will be some sort of account linking.
But this obviously is speculation, no one even knows if and when the game will be dropped on steam.
