Arena Breakout is too hard for me, I feel like quitting. Skill issue? Maybe.

Idk I just feel like I suck at it. I never played Tarkov, this is my first time on an extraction shooter (besides vigor, we don't talk about that), I thought I would be quite good since I'm a bit used to more mil-sim games (squad, insurgency sandstorm), but nope... I suck.

I love to play this type of game solo so that i can snipe enemies away slowly... Solo is almost impossible in this game, surviving on such a small map with tons of squads is just impossible. It's really rare the times I can extract tbh (almost only low-level modes).

I feel like extraction in this game is almost impossible. Two groups of teams on each side of the map with the goal to extract on the opposite side (generating a clash and loads of fights between the teams in the middle of the run), seems fun, but doesn't really work. People kill each other before they even reach the middle of the map. I feel like I have to always run carefully to the extraction zone as soon as I have any gear/loot that I consider profitable (rarely making it out alive).

Snipers have it easy on this game, really easy to lay down in the middle of nowhere without being seen and just take great shots. There's tons of space to snipe from and barely any place to hide.

Also, High-level gear enemies are basically tanks walking around.

What makes it even more infuriating is that I don't have friends to play it with, only randoms (the game is too heavy for my friends to run it).

I'm only making a profit from not taking too much loot into the zone and doing tons of missions. I only have 2MIL since I started playing yesterday.

Any tips to improve my gameplay and help me find this game more enjoyable?

-play Covert Ops. ( free gear)
- best rewards is for ''daily logins''
-use caps lock and walk slow.
-use bushes and forest as cover.
- try different grenades
- Loot totally sux except for player kills.
- if your teammate are not careful , let them die
- dont run in open fields
- dont spend any in game currency unless on medical treatments. all else is trash
- dont spend money on this game, before you start enjoying it.

Goal is to extract and maybe get some gear which comes from players. I think all else is irrelevant. Loot from boxes is total trash.

Once your teammate fires without silencer that position is basically done, its over. All map knows hes there, avoid that position ( because most likely its looted anyway , is about to be pushed or is watched with scopes ) or go around it.

in this game a lot of players like to push and a lot of players like to sit in one place for long time.

I had shots in the face with great gear too, so I know how its and Im totally broke. No gear, no money. Only Covert OPs left. And I wont spend 1$ on this game, because its just not rewarding. I literally pay 20k currency in every single match to find this game fun. And I can't make it / in game currency back unless I get a really good gun and sell it in parts.

My fear is that if I spend any money on this game to do the must fun thing which is buildin guns , then option to build guns is gonna get lost soon. Its very easy to get broke in this game.

Overall its a good game for what it is. However its pointless, theres is no goal, loot sux, Mission Success comes with 0 reward. It could be a lot better if players could actually enjoying building guns, trying different things. In my opinion market is too expensive for building guns.

Go in covert ops and farm bots on valley by sneaking around. It is super easy to farm lvl 3 armor off of bots (can be sold for 18-20K on market if its at max durability). Loot 3 random guns off bots and exfil. Rinse and repeat over and over. Very easy to farm 25-60K doing this method each time, you don't even need to fight players to build up your money first. You can use a knife to kill bots in the head.

I would suggest to stay on the normal maps for now, not to invest extra cash into a mode that will have better geared enemies.
Learn the map, learn the spawns, some of them (especially grain trade center spawns on farm) tend to have immediate PvP, there are 3-4 spawns that can (and will) push each other in 10-20 seconds.

I always use a headset, sound is very important.
Like the guy before said, maploot is rarely worth much, most money comes from other peoples gear. Learn to loot them quick, nothing is more deadly than staying on a corpse for too long cause you somehow want to Tetris those extra moneys into your pockets. Usually attachments such as scopes, silencers and grips as well as ammunition are worth the most, so often it helps to just take them off the enemies gun to save space.

If you want mates, I suggest you hit the discord or something similar, randoms are always a hassle, better try some groups that are willing to take you in.

unless you have a decent team this game sucks hard for solos (that are not sweaty streamers or randoms)
