Not Enough RAM

First game I've ever had tell me I don't meet the minimum requirements. 16GB of RAM and I only have 12.

I might as well upgrade my PC, but just wondering if anyone would give opinions if this game by itself is worth the cost of buying more RAM?

This day in time you should have a minimum of 16gb ram if you game. The OS alone can eat up a lot of ram nowadays and if you like playing Betas, early access games on steam a lot of those are Ram hogs. I am very surprised that you haven't had any issues yet.

I would highly advise 32gb ram.

Yea, and by upgrade you mean get a completely new PC, since back in 2014 ryzen wasn't even a thing nor was any ray tracing cards.

......32GB is the standard....for ♥♥♥♥ sakes update your PC. 16GB stopped being the standard a few years back.

That's cause it's your CPU not ram causing a coding error on the shader.

What you have to do is find a side hustle that doesn't require you actually working. I suggest phone games that pay out. It might take a month, but you'll easily make more than it costs to get another 16GB of RAM. Especially if your system is from 2014, that's DDR4 maybe even DDR3, that's dirt cheap now.
