P2W isn't the biggest issue
Being able to buy ingame credits is a problem yes but it's not the games biggest issue.

This game has 0 depth and barely any progression. There's only a handful of missions along with 0 crafting and no sign of a hideout. It's just a loot grinder with average gunplay.

Well that's because it's P2W....mechanics and design are going to be based on P2W tactics. So guess what P2W is the problem and reason for the problems your listing.

Almost EVERY SINGLE problem with this game boils down to P2W.

The economy is run by AI. If you add crafting there's no way to manipulate that system. There's no way to fake scarcity or abundance at that point. More simpler minded people even will be able to figure out they're being manipulated at that point.

Same with the Hideout. These provide an economy that's harder to manipulate and you can't trick people into buying stuff if you can't manipulate the results.

What I mean by that is if X + B = A and these variables are always the same the only way they can manipulate it is by manipulating the prices on the market and the drops. At which point because your making the item let's say a healing item you will notice if they dimish or for a few days remove the drops in game and increase the price by 20x.

So literally if you have no clue how game design works even a random moron will be like "this is fishy".

Some people don't realize the market is fake. If an item is listed below a threshold (too cheap) the AI buys it. Preventing other players from cashing in on the lower price. This keeps players buying items at a set or higher price. Maintaining the need to have KOEN since prices are artificially stable. It can also manipulate the market for items that are popular by artificially increasing the pricing.

In China it's a given here we're susceptible because we don't think about these kind of deep levels of manipulation we don't think of it's the age of AI and the AI in this game is actually manipulating people for purchases. By manipulating drop tables, loot scarcity, market scarcity, and it even keeps track of engagement.

It's probably the most advanced system other than Activision-Blizzard's engagement system that they patented for COD even that doesn't remotely do the same thing or is as advanced as this AI system.

--------

That's why this game should be boycotted. People are not able to comprehend this is the next level of P2W where you have AI manipulating simple minded people. We don't need fake markets, fake drop tables, fake loot scarcity, AI manipulation, or an entire game designed around it.

That's a lot of words. But I do agree that the P2W aspect and the loot grinder style plays well together. The issue for the devs is I don't think the western market will stick around for it in enough capacity for it to work. At least I hope not.
