Extreme input lag with GPU at 99% in menu/raid
Edit2/possible solution: It seems to have been solved by re-plugging gpu and cpu cables and getting rid of dust in cpu cooler and psu at least in menu. Gpu takes much more power outside of stresstests now than before. Gonna try it out in raid today.

Edit: I just discovered that if I take off all gear from my Tactical Ops the fps stays above 60 in main menu so the ultimate culprit of 100% usage with stuttering lag low fps comes from LOOT itself whether it is in main menu or in raid. How do I decrease all loot details even further? Maybe this would fix my issue at hand.

This happens in storage menu and in raid within buildings and near loot. The only place I can control my mouse/aiming in a responsive way is at the corner of the map far away from loot and enemies & in shooting range (also in the first tutorial).

This is like having drunk sluggish inertia for the mouse controls and massive stuttering lag.

My GTX 3060 stays at constant 99% but at 55 Celsius and my I7-9700 at around 25% whenever this problem occurs.
Roughly 13 out of my 32GB RAM and only 4 out of 12GB VRAM is being used.
And it occurs most of the times so this is too frequent to enjoy the game at all.

I tried these tips but with no solution at all:
Mouse polling rate from 1000hz to 500hz/250hz/125hz did nothing.
GPU drivers updated with DDU in Safe Mode did nothing.
All in-game setting combinations + Control Panel.
FPS limited to 61 in raid and to 21 in menu but even if it is limited to 30 in raid this problem occurs 100% so there is no difference between high and low settings at all.
Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling did not work either way.
IDE SATA Adapter in Device Manager from Intel 300 into Standard did nothing.
Closing background apps like Chrome or Discord did nothing.
Repairing or re-installing did nothing as well.
I did run malwarebytes and found a Tencent folder in AppData/Roaming with a file called "Common.ini" which I put in Quarantine and deleted later on. It did not come back but the problem persists.

I do not what else to try out. All my friends with even worse PCs run it just fine. I have also seen people run this game fine with 3060 so this is a problem on my PC. But nothing like this happens with EFT, Chivalry 2, Vermintide 2 or any other games I played the last years so far.

I hope someone can help out or else I can't experience this game at all.

Limit your FPS in the game settings under Image i think. Also enable limitation for main menu

Unfortunately already tried this. I could limit to 20 fps and this still happens?!

I just found out that main menu is the culprit because this lag fest with 14 fps starts when entering main menu but disappears when entering gunsmith. I just hope someone finds a solution to this.

Are you sure you limited the FPS in the game menu? Because there is just one Option where you put in the limit number and then you have to clikc on "On" to limit the FPS in the menu. There is no seperate number input for the menu.

I did limit fps overall via control panel and also tried unlimited but yeah menu limitation was also tried out with on or off. Something else makes this problem appear...

Windows 11 Pro
RAM 32.0 GB
i7-12700F, 2100 Mhz
B660MXC PRO
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Playing in 4k, everything Max including Sharpness. No issues what so ever. Loading time to enter the game is non existent (instant deployment).

If anything I would suggest you to check the applications running on the background. Check your SSD/HDD for writing/reading speed and if no dead sectors. Obviously update the drivers.

Also give the game process "High Priority" through Task Manager so if the system redistribute your resources to something else, it will force the system to concentrate on the specific task.

The easiest way is to install a fresh copy of Windows (it will back up your older version so you can roll back if anything), and launch the game with no nonsense or junk that your PC might be suffering from. That would be your baseline if its the game, or your machine.

I did try with no background apps at all and also with new drivers even with DDU in safe mode but it did not solve my issue which is not a normal un-optimized error at all. Whatever I set anything it results in the same 15 fps stutter fest whenever I enter main menu but it vanishes entering gunsmith or shooting range.
Unfortunately it works in raid just like in main menu with 15 fps except for when I stand in the corner of the map where no enemies or loots exist. Also High priority was done already...

I had windows desktop and explorer change their font sizes and such right after installing windows and now I disabled them unwillingly due to 2K and 4K settings in the NVCP. I will try it out once again but hopefully it will work for whatever reason when it releases on Steam.
At least I can enjoy the gunsmith and shooting range and make some money via traders and some really laggy 15 fps scav runs... They do run a little better I guess due to fewer players or fewer loot?

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

The same thing is happening to me, has anyone found a solution? I've been playing the game for over a month and I've never had a problem, but in the last week it's been impossible. Same problem reported by my partner, lag in the menu when loot is installed in the operator, extreme lag when seeing corpses with loot, impossible. I've done all the possible steps and nothing. The only thing that helped me only once, the next day it all came back again, if anyone wants to try: Settings/Screen/Graphics settings/ and turn on or off “Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling”, restart the pc and test. If anyone has another solution, I look forward to hearing from you.
