Agreed and I have been seeing screenshots of people with 3060's getting the message LOL.
It's actually kind of ridiculous to be honest. Even the most cutting edge games can downscale to low graphics and run on older hardware. Infact one of the best parts about Unreal Engine is it's ability to scale graphics down (which is how they made the mobile game btw lol). I have been playing games with WAY higher graphics demands on a 2060 Super for years with zero issues. If they do not change this requirement they will lose A LOT of players right off the start.
The worst part is as someone fresh into unreal engine development ... this is literally just a code setting that blocks the game from running. Like they manually added this check and could remove it at any time to allow this other hardware to run. How do I know this? Because every other game made in Unreal Engine runs on your hardware without this error message.
This is kind of disappointing to me as every single time there is a legit competitor to that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game known as Tarkov the competition somehow drops the ball. It's not that hard developers, extraction game with valuble loot that can only be found in the world and is perma lost on player death.
Ah well back to the drawing board I guess lol.
