i had a similar experience. once, my teammates body disappeared and the second time, it teleported to the other side of the road.

They are not lying. It's legit. Apparently if you ALT + F4 when dying it despawns your body. I had a naked run up on a dead teammate. Grabbed his VSS and when I shot him in the head he disappeared and the gun was gone.
