Does Steam/Valve allow the game to be sold on their store front?

I'm on no ones side here and there is a very clear issue that needs to be addressed.

It would be a crazy can of worms if you are allowed to outright plagiarise others code and assets and then sell it as your own on this platform.

Of all the "evidence" shown thus far, i've only seen one model that looked identical which was the AK. AB uses photogrammery (however you spell it), it means photo scans.

If BSG files a DMCA steam 100% will block it and they will be forced to use their own launcher. That's how it works. Steam doesn't even check the validity of DMCA requests, they simply act like in Dark and Darkers case and let the courts sort it out.

End of the day after being ripped off on merch never getting sent from the merch store, prior to the ukraine war by MONTHS whilst paying $100 extra for express post only to be told they couldnt send it cause of ukraine.

That and the recent drama yeah: makes me not give 20 DAMNS about your little post.

All in all i Very much Doubt that theres gonna be much Happening
1 Tencent is much Bigger so Starting a Legal Battle is Very unlikely for Nikita to end up being Positive.

2 Currently besides the one Piece of 1 Gun theres not realy much Evidence (atleast as far as i saw)

3 Even if they Start a Legal Battle and get it off steam it wouldnt Do that much since Tarkov itself aint even on Steam so most of the people playing it would be fine with Using a Secondary Launcher (especialy since we already have the accounts etc for it)

4 Their Main Audiences are different and they are both from places where The laws like to get Bend so to say

5 Bsg Themselves Are not Necesarilie acting fully Legal (Glock for Example basicaly Never gives out Licenses to use their stuff and Tarkov very early on in Development Prided itself on Being made up of all the Things that exist in Realitie etc and if they actualy have the Licenses could be debatet as well as Breaking Consumer Protection laws In the UK where they are based so if people see hey they are Already in a Legal Battle its likely some would use the Opportunitie to jump on and start a Class Action Lawsuit
