Arena Breakout: Infinite

Arena Breakout: Infinite

Stuttering, non-lag
So, intel 13900k, 4090gtx and 64gb of ram - and even in servers with a low ping I get micro to moderate frame hitching fairly frequently. Tried lowering my frame cap, etc - I don't think it's the mouse movement issue I see some others posting about, it seems to happen pretty consistently.

Just was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a fix or if this is a known issue or if it's something on my end. Other games, every other game I own runs pretty seamlessly.

I get this too. On a 13700k and 4090. Is very very annoying. Any fix for this would be amazing :)
Reduce mouse polling rate to 500hz.

Tried doing this already, did not work for me.
Windows 11, 4090, 7800X3D, 32GB of RAM: Same here. The mouse polling rate is BS, does nothing. Would love a real fix.
anyone found a fix?

No unfortunately, 5800x3d, 4090, 64Gb of RAM and I have the same problem. For me it's almost unplayable
So, this ...SO FAR...with minimal testing has yielded better results for me. I've only done two raids, and that said, I think I still get the server side stutters everyone experiences, but I wasn't getting the stutters every 10-40 seconds.

Under windows Settings - Display - Graphics - add the UAGame.exe (application) from the C:\Arena Breakout Infinite\ABInfinite\Binaries\Win64\ path and turn on High Priority for it.
Secondly, right click the action application file and under properties\compatibility - disable Fullscreen Optimizations.

idk if it's perfect or if it's working, but I was stuttering in the first two raids less. (Still getting some, which I think are server side)
ehh...played another raid and I feel like it gets increasingly worse. Not sure if I was experiencing placebo effect or real results.
I also had alot Issued with 100% GPU Usage/FPS Drop when i see dead bodies & when entern buildings. (i7-11700k + 3080 Ti)
Then i turned off "Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling" & restarted my PC & tried it again, and now i see 1%-20% GPU usage in Taskmanager & no FPS drops anymore when i look at Bodies, but still when i enter Buildings! But the Game somehow feels better with "Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling" turned off! Maybe it helps!
Tried the Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling - turning it off - an unfortunately, still not a fix. The previous things I have tried have not actually fixed it either. Very frustrating.
yeah @limbcutter, I'm experiencing the same thing on my build which is pretty high end.. just giving up for now

@jBurnaaa Just tried stuff from the discord - like adjusting page sizing for memory on my ssds, disabling nvidia overlay through geforce experience....nothing seems to stop the freezes.
Disappointing. I am enjoying the game too, just dying to significant hiccups mid gun fight is frustrating.
So I'm feeling like it may be a 4090 issue then. I also have a 4090 and it's the common denominator amongst those I see like myself.
I have a 4080 and an i7 13700k and I'm experiencing the same thing. It's the game guys so just try to enjoy it and remember it's a BETA not the complete game. It will get better. Hopefully..
It's not a 4090 issue, others are reporting the same problem on other hardware. Plus I have two PCs with a 4090 and only one of them has issues. 7800X3D+4090 stutters/freeze every minute (even in firing range), 5800X3D+4090 system no issues.
