Arena Breakout: Infinite

Arena Breakout: Infinite

Stuttering, non-lag
So, intel 13900k, 4090gtx and 64gb of ram - and even in servers with a low ping I get micro to moderate frame hitching fairly frequently. Tried lowering my frame cap, etc - I don't think it's the mouse movement issue I see some others posting about, it seems to happen pretty consistently.

Just was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a fix or if this is a known issue or if it's something on my end. Other games, every other game I own runs pretty seamlessly.

I'm also getting this problem, it seems to be the same with the audio in the game at times and I'm running a i9 12900k 4070 ti 32gb ram
Of course now everyone has a 4090 here.
If you guys really had a 13900k and a 4090 running 32 or 64 gigs of ram you wouldnt be having those issues. 2 people from my discord also have the same setup, nobody has issues.
Watch some streamers with this exact same setup play the game. Nobody has those problems.
Guess all the guys saying they have a 4090 setup with 7800xd or 13900/ 14900k are just lying about their system specs and running a lower end setup.
microfreezes occur approximately once every 10 seconds, this can be seen on the video card graph in msi afterburner. System r7-5800X/RTX3080/32GB RAM/1TB m2/ I tried all the tips from this thread, but nothing helped(

4080 super, 12900kf 5.2 Ghz OC, 32 gb DDR5, on a NVMe,2 SSD 4th gen, game has micro stutters. Your friends likely get them and you don't see them and just as a mention, you wouldn't see it on a stream either. Game runs marvelously, no issues, but once in a while out of no where, I get a hitch for 0.5 to 1 second. It's enough to be an annoyance, but not enough to hurt me.

Of course I notice micro stutters, I work in IT.
My overall system latency is at 3.5ms while playing this game.
Not a single stutter or hitch with any spikes, installed on a regular SSD.
I mean the game is hardcore pay 2 win and got other issues like borked audio but for me it runs completely flawless.
You can indeed see stutters, micro freezes and screen tearing on stream, Idk what youre even talking about.
If your game hitches for 1 second (which is a lot when in the middle of smooth gameplay) your system is filled to the brim with crap and probably using old drivers maybe even an outdated Bios on your board.

You dont work in IT. If you would - you wouldn't make such stupid statements like your first post. Unless "IT" for you stands for "Intelectual Tosser". Get better, do better.

For people with "better" machines still experiencing hiccups and stutters:
-UNPARK your cores. Hiccups happen when your system is trying to utilise/open more cores as game needs them. This is when your game stutters for half a sec. I had same issue having i9 13900k 4090 and 96gb ram@5800. Seems like this is due to some kind of optimisation issue for multithreading?
This helped me a lot from 100 hiccups on my "scav" run while just trying to extract I dropped to 1 random stutter in over 20 min game.

Quick guide to unpark your cores (I DO NOT RECOMMEND using 3rd party programs):

WINDOWS KEY + R -> regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> HIGHLIGHT "CurrentControlSet" then Right Click and FIND -> "dec35c318583" but without quotes.
Look for "ValueMax" it should be set to 64 I believe -> double click and change the value to 0 and exit regedit.
Restart your PC and enjoy lag free game.

You can heal my Ligma later.

Unparking your cores is something you don't need to do anymore on modern systems. Cores are parked to save power, and they are utilized when there is sufficient load. Stuttering also happens for a lot of different reasons, not just CPU load. This game hardly even pushes my CPU past like 35% utilization.

Tell me you know nothing without telling me you know nothing.

For Anyone using 12-14th gen Intel's I would also recommend changing "ValueMin" to "100" - this actually has something to do with these CPU's that changing ValueMax only might not work. Check that if it helps.
all my games worked flawlessly except for this one. I tried all the methods I found on the Internet, but only one helped. I reinstalled the system offline and installed the nvidia drivers downloaded in advance from the official website. Now this game works perfectly too. The official discord channel replied that this method did not help everyone =(
I experience the same issues. No problems during closed beta, no problems for the first 4 days of the open beta, then this issue just started. Very frustrating. I have a GTX 1080ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Ryzen 5 3600. I note that the stutters are at a regular frequency, always about 10s apart, which can be seen as a spike in usage on one or two CPU threads, accompanied by a drop in GPU utilization to almost zero.

Having tried almost everything I can find/think of, I'm starting to think it may be a windows user account permissions issue.
Same here
I had to put everything on low and set the post processing to medium and it helped alot
