Arena Breakout: Infinite

Arena Breakout: Infinite

Stuttering, non-lag
So, intel 13900k, 4090gtx and 64gb of ram - and even in servers with a low ping I get micro to moderate frame hitching fairly frequently. Tried lowering my frame cap, etc - I don't think it's the mouse movement issue I see some others posting about, it seems to happen pretty consistently.

Just was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a fix or if this is a known issue or if it's something on my end. Other games, every other game I own runs pretty seamlessly.

GTX 1660 SUPER, AMD Ryzen 5 2600x, 16GB ram, and on Windows 10 and I get 0 issues with all settings on high. Get a stable 50-60 fps with very minor dips in some parts. Unsure of what the issue is with some pcs. My other friends with a 4080/4090 don't have issues either. Could be a certain CPU issue maybe?

4060 r7 7840HS here and same stutters/freeze even in firing range. FPS are good, no microstuttering.

Today they released an update. Does it fix the problem? I had the same issue (i7/4060 mobile).

Same issue here...i have a 14700k and a 4070 Super...
The game is unplayable like this.
What is strange I didn't had this problem on the first day of the beta...i was really smooth back then.

Same issue here on 7950x3d and Asus 4090. Fps drops down to as low as 10-20 every couple/few seconds, causing a really annoying stutter. I've also tried every "solution" I could find, like the mouse polling, a certain motherboard driver, etc.

Happens for everyone , annoying when it happens right when you are in a fight with a npc , u might end up dead cus of the 1-2 sec freeze
RoadDog May 26, 2024 @ 4:03am
9900k 3080, no 1-2 sec freeze..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe a U problem? or if a scav joins....if its after 10 min after map starts.

Game issue. Don't even try to search for solutions... Nothing helps.
And it seems they don't even try to fix it.

I don't have access to the game but I can make a suggestion as it's possible the devs were incompetent and didn't implement proper p-core / e-core prioritisation to the game as some other developers have done as well, resulting in stutter.

Use Process Lasso or another method to change CPU affinity on the game to only use your p-cores, cut out the e-cores entirely.

This is only for 12th / 13th / 14th gen users, so if you don't have those lines of processors, don't bother trying this.

Cody is 100% right

experiencing the same thing even in mid end build,
I do notice when the stutter happens, the Drive's Response time which the game is installed goes up. Even in SSD's And also when the stutter happens, the GPU Utilization goes down to 4-10%.

So I'm guessing it has to do with your Drive's Speed.
Because I do notice with some streamers they get stutter less because they have
WD Black M.2 NVME (7000 Mb/s) in their systems

For people with "better" machines still experiencing hiccups and stutters:
-UNPARK your cores. Hiccups happen when your system is trying to utilise/open more cores as game needs them. This is when your game stutters for half a sec. I had same issue having i9 13900k 4090 and 96gb ram@5800. Seems like this is due to some kind of optimisation issue for multithreading?
This helped me a lot from 100 hiccups on my "scav" run while just trying to extract I dropped to 1 random stutter in over 20 min game.

Quick guide to unpark your cores (I DO NOT RECOMMEND using 3rd party programs):

WINDOWS KEY + R -> regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> HIGHLIGHT "CurrentControlSet" then Right Click and FIND -> "dec35c318583" but without quotes.
Look for "ValueMax" it should be set to 64 I believe -> double click and change the value to 0 and exit regedit.
Restart your PC and enjoy lag free game.

You can heal my Ligma later.
