fps unstable and freeze problem

anyone knows how to fix these two issues？got laptop 4070 with i9 working fine with other game but my fps cant reach to 240 in the game so i tried to use setting to lock fps at 100 or 120 but it still goes up and down…

What is the driver? 555.85?

and how many GBs of RAM do you have? Cause i have the same problem of freezes, but im almost sure my 16gb of ram that the problem. This is not accurate, but most likely

For people with "better" machines still experiencing hiccups and stutters:
-UNPARK your cores. Hiccups happen when your system is trying to utilise/open more cores as game needs them. This is when your game stutters for half a sec. I had same issue having i9 13900k 4090 and 96gb ram@5800. Seems like this is due to some kind of optimisation issue for multithreading?
This helped me a lot from 100 hiccups on my "scav" run while just trying to extract I dropped to 1 random stutter in over 20 min game.

Quick guide to unpark your cores (I DO NOT RECOMMEND using 3rd party programs):

WINDOWS KEY + R -> regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> HIGHLIGHT "CurrentControlSet" then Right Click and FIND -> "dec35c318583" but without quotes.
Look for "ValueMax" it should be set to 64 I believe -> double click and change the value to 0 and exit regedit.
Restart your PC and enjoy lag free game.

Windows 11, 4090, 7800X3D, 32GB of RAM: Same here. I'm at 180 FPS and above but every 20 seconds or so the game freezes/stutters for half a second. It's not shader compilation on new effects either. Tried multiple graphics settings, FSR/DLSS/TSR, new drivers, etc.. All other games run fine on my machine.

I have this same issue! And a very powerful PC ... maybe is from the game, I really want to solve that... it`s so disgusting

i have problems with stuttering too i run 60+ fps and after 20sec little freez but its terrible and unplayable in game like this when you are in combat

All my lag went away after cleaning PC , removed and uninstalled programs that was running in he background , still get lag from time to time but i think that is because there are cheaters on the server lagging it up , but i was able to remove 80-90% of the lag which was all on my end.
