...and if u can get via grind its not p2w it would be pay for progress. 2 different things.
cya
They can monetize by many ways but they choose to monetize with the most frustrating item of the game. Come on.
The entire game is a rug pull and people have no idea wtf they are about to install when it launches on steam. I give it a week before the reviews go negative. Unless you are okay with swiping this game will not be for you.
in arena you can buy coins to buy gear, in tarkov its one time after you die with that gear you cant buy it for real money anymore and for case there is Kappa wich is better than gamma one is 3x3 9 slots and other one is 3x4 12 slots by completing quest
and to add to this arena breakout mobile has monthly subcription to secure con, wich will probably come to pc version too.
some ppl need to stay away from such games clearly
you can flip it, turn it around however you want, but people buying coins with real money to buy top gear do have adventage over f2p player wich has to grind and kill other players or loot to find that same gear.
you can run 10 runs of f2p and 10 runs of p2w you might die but it gives you some % of sucess with better gear than f2p wich will be most likely worse gear.
not sure are people that dense or we now accepting mobile scamy marketing and monetization.
I for sure will stay away from such games clearly.
Noone cares that you need to cope and say it's okay because it's just a timmy. I can't wait for all the chinese swipers to wipe the floor with all of the new players and instant backlash kills this game before it even get past a month of release.
Let's face it the FPS gaming market is nothing left but casuals and whales. We will never see an authentic shooter experience that is not built on milking people ever again. Time to move on.
But the moment you can buy ingame currency and gear, this becomes a different story. This might destroy the game, but probably make enough money in the run so nobody but the gamers will care :-/
Maybe they will change the buyable stuff to maybe skins, or camos and so on.
Or do you rather want to have ingame ads before each raid and after?
Only if you paid $250, folks are still playing on the $50 edition and going strong. But whatever helps bums like you sleep at night I guess.
