Why is it so easy to get gear?

Played my first raid and unlocked flea market... within one raid...
I was able to start buying literal meta gear and ammo...
Ran my next few raids using best in slot armor, helmet, headset, faceshield, FAL with best ammo... and just had a fairly easy time...

IMO should be easy to get Low-Mid tier gear, somewhat challenging to get Mid-High tier gear, and extremely difficult to get literal best in slot. Otherwise it just feels like Kit PvP.

Probably because money is much harder to get to buy said gear. Spend 500k on a kit and lose it youre scaving or going in bare bones for 10-30 raids.

Well from what i can see this game just runs the Philosophy of if you have money you can buy whatever you want
Frankly speaking i like it more
Tarkov (most peoples Comparison) Just has you grind for a long time just to then give you near top tier gear for cheap so it losses its Value meanwhile theres no real reason to Actualy loot etc since Money becomes a non issue once you finished your hideout

Look i dont like pw2 that gives a gun / armor or item that i can never get. But if you really want to pay 10-20 $ for in game money and items that i can also loot im not too bothered. Its better than the money going to cheating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. because that way only company makes money from those wanting to dispose of cash.

Getting Gear in tarkov is also easy the only thing thats hard to find is GOOD gear. tarkov decides to gate keep good stuff behind garbage quest. and never adding in the armor / gun or whatever into the loot tables. Have you ever found a mjolnirr? or a cool pimped out m1a? no but you find plenty of trash. Also why do you think RMT is so popular in tarkov? because certain items are super super rare!

Every additional point of damage on a gun, or point of armor in a helmet should cost exponentially more. To the point of best meta stuff costing close to a dozen of medium tier gear sets.
That way it's high risk - high reward, the whole point of extraction shooters.

i do agree with that thought for a starting point (not sure how 1 to 1 stuff got Translated from mobile since i never played it) it might be beneficial to make stuff on average a little to cheap

People still need to get used to the game, looting, behaviour, sound etc (meaning more deaths to ai and less money Generatet) and you kinda want people to try stuff out and then make Overused stuff More expensive rather then the other way around (If its to good people will use it and that will show it off quickly while if its to weak people wont use it so you gain limitet data)

I've played 5 raids total. 4 with that kit. Each raid getting results like the one above. In my stash I currently have 9 High Tier/Meta kits that I either purchased with money I made in those raids or looted from players.

5 raids in... so yeah it is insanely easy...

So the reason in your case Gear is so Easy to get is because people have good Gear Kinda like when you Jump in Tarkov late Game

His point is he didn't earn the gear, he just bought it on flea market. I agree with him, the lack of stakes and ease of acquiring top tier gear is gonna make people's retention to the game much shorter than Tarkov.

its all smiles until you playing mid day and run into mr chad 4 raids straight now your million dollar kits are gone you can build a gun for 200k think about how much room for error is it really you are just on a luck train right now. if you play tarkov you know how some days can be.

Well that is something we already answered above
i and a bunch of other people do Prefer that since this means Running good Gear just requires skill (Win fights good looting etc) and is not just grind trought 200 sometimes stupid tasks to then get it relatively cheap
Meanwhile if you perform badly you are just gonna run out of money even if you are far into the game so you are gonna have to run relatively low tier gear
So in my Opinion theres much more at stake in the vast majoritie of fights besides maybe the top end gear that in for example Tarkov most players are basicaly never run

not discussing my play by any means. im actually playing the game and earning money the same way you are im speaking from the perspective of the casual player my guy its a discussion forum. i think its far fetched to say these runs are low stake runs when it cost to go in plus your gear is about 1 mill including bullets and armor high stakes for sure.

whats the problem with that? increasing difficulty will just make the span larger of casual players and jobless people. just look at EFT. only full time streamers get ♥♥♥♥ done
