Arena Breakout: Infinite

Arena Breakout: Infinite

Opinion from an EOD EFT Veteran.
As an EOD tarkov veteran that has retired due to the cheating problem i have to say that the game has insane optimization, runs 2x the FPS i make in tarkov while having extremely high quality visuals (not that i expected less from a Tencent studio), it's insanely fun to play and while still keeping the hardcore vibe it feels a lot more "calm" and doesn't put as much stress on the player, the movement is great but jumps are a bit too much powerful, recoil is unfortunately closer to the pre-patch tarkov one which i don't like at all but if it's going to be the biggest tradeoff to get a much better overall game i accept it. All the quality of life updates EFT needed to be a good game are in this, and when it launches there is simply no going back.

All secure cases are paid from what i understand, considering how P2W tarkov got it's really nothing compared to it BUT the perfect solution would be to lock a 2x2 or 3x2 container behind a kappa-like grind or permanent purchase considering there will be no wipes, and bigger containers up to 3x3 at most should be paid to support the game. I hope skins will also play a huge role in customization but without affecting visibility or hitboxes.

Level 1 Flea makes the game much better for everyone because low level players can gear up and make the usually massive skill and gear gap smaller while being able to interact with the game in a much more personal way, sure it takes a lot away from the low level gameplay where you should be struggling more but to be honest it's better like this. Keep the hardcore gameplay while injecting some FUN into the game.

Maps are very small, but they're based on the Mobile version of the game so im pretty sure they will make PC exclusive maps that will be much bigger and hopefully complex.

Audio is pretty good and sound whoring is MUCH less prominent in this game, which is one of the biggest issues EFT has.

Scavs are the only real negative point in this game, the AI is extremely bad and they only see you when you look at them or you're very close. If you look at an AI scav at 100m distance it will spot you for no reason and start running towards you.

For me, as someone who thinks the FPS genre is basically dead, im truly in love with this game and it has so much going for it, don't ♥♥♥♥ it up guys, you have a potential masterpiece in your hands.

I haven't played to escape from Takov, but I heard from other people that escaping from Takov is very unfriendly to new players. I think this is one of the reasons for its decline. However, I know this game very well for me. My evaluation of this game is that everything is good except the low material production rate. As for the big map you mentioned, I dare say that it will be published 100% in the future, and there will be vehicles for players to move faster. To ask me how I can be sure, I can only say that the game version of China server's mobile phone breakout is four seasons ahead of the international server's breakout. I estimate that the development of PC will follow the version of China server, even if there are changes, it will not change too much.

Providing I can have a keytool that is safe then I'm good, if it's like Tarkov just take in a Mosin and headshot those bringing in their paid gear, the kill will feel more satisfying knowing they've paid real money for it!

Considering you can have free Keytools obtainable trough gameplay it's not going to be as bad as one could think, but high tier will definitely benefit a lot from a small secure case stacked with high end ammo.

There is no beating EFT when it comes to pay to win considering you either buy EOD (Now the 250 edition) or basically can't play until you put 500 hours in wipe to reach their level (and they still have a massive advantage especially now that they can call in friends lmao).

The amount of roubles you can make by selling EOD or Unheard exclusive gear on the flea is much, much more than what ABI subscription offers so while there will be a P2W component it's going to be much more contained than EFT.

I couldn't trust any free to play game of this sort to have decent anti cheat management

My biggest complaint is that there's absolutely zero atmosphere. I don't feel myself getting immersed at all. Sure, I can hear people walking from a mile away and gunshots in the distance but something about the whole gameplay experience lacks personality or substance.

For example, Tarkov's maps are some of the best in the business. Each one has details and life. You can find hide-outs, hidden stashes, story elements, and easter eggs in the world. This game feels more like a CoD map where the main focus is to have stand-out places where you can take cover and have little fights. Other than that, I dunno. It's missing the mark for me completely for some reason I can't put my finger on. I want to give it more of a chance but there's something completely lacking from the experience for me.

The maps are a direct port from the mobile game and i guess that's why they're lacking in terms of detail, to be honest, i prefer the game running at 120 fps on a mid end pc rather than having it full of bloat to the point of being unplayable on anything that isn't a 4090 like EFT.

I would say your comments are well thought out and put together here, well done. One exception, EFT has always been P2W, it just got more P2W. ABI will also be P2W, with one major difference. The P2W is 100% optional. You can chose to play the game for free and just skip the P2W parts. In EFT you can't. You either buy a crap package or a better one. P2W here will make life more difficult for you, but if you didnt pay a dime, who cares. I'm sure the micro-trans will be set up to lure buyers in. Get that item on sale for the low low price of whatever. Next week it will be a new shinny item, and so on... so be it. I'm fine with that. Hopefully they keep the hackers under control.
