Trap Mine Detonation bug.
Honestly this is screwing me over more than anything else in the game. It only ever seems to occur in Boss Rooms where instant skill utlilization is key.

I keep running into an issue where I placed a remote Trap Mine as Hugo, The kind where you tap the skill hotkey again it instantly detonates damaging enemies in the surrounding area. I'm constantly finding that when I place one of these mines, The hotkey malfunctions and the Trap Mine will not go off.

The problem (Other than the fact that this makes accuracy essentially impossible) is due the way that the Trap Mines are designed, You can not use any other skills until any current remote Trap Mines have detonated. So to put it simply, If I run into this problem I can't simply jump over to the first skill and shield.

I'd really like to finish this Nightmare run with Hugo, But this glitch completely kills any hope of proceeding. Is there:

A: A way to patch this?
B: A method to avoid having the issue occur entirely.

Almost two years have passed and this bug is still alive and well. Adds an extra sprinkle of artificial difficulty to Nightmare boss rush.

You're using the charged one, right? I'm pretty sure you can't manually trigger uncharged mines like that.

Yes. The charged mine fails to detonate manually about 25% of the time.
