Youtube music stops whenever i alt tab out from a game, vice versa

hello all, who are reading this.
i've just bought a new pc, its a mid-high end build, and im pretty sure it should run fine.

whenever i'm playing my game, eg; gta v, i would sometimes alt tab in and out to check on stuffs, but whenever i do that, my pc takes around 3 seconds to get me out of the screen, and while at it, it always get a 3 seconds black screen and my background youtube music would stop, same applies to iTunes too.

since i was a laptop user previously, im not that familiar with pc stuffs, so im not really that sure if it has got to do with my monitor or what? or is there something i can do to fix it?

Hello, and welcome to the Steam discussion forum for the game Ys Origin.

Every so often, someone posts a question unrelated to the game, in a game forum here on Steam. And generally, like you, the person doesn't even own the game, so it's probably not that they just misclicked on a specific game.

Do you mind if I ask, out of curiosity...how did you find this place?



As for your issue, my guess is that whatever your display driver is doing is probably the thing at fault, since it seems that whatever is happening happens when you go from a fullscreened application to normal Windows.

You might be able to avoid this by using a borderless windowed form of fullscreen. Ys Origin has this, if I recall correctly; I dunno about GTAV.

thank you for the reply, i just saw someone else's similar post, but not quite the same to my issue, and since there's a "start your own discussion" button on the right hand side of the screen, so bam, little do i know i am at Ys Origin's forum, so sorry.
