Ys Origin
What game play next after Origins?
So, I played YS 1 & 2 and right after Origins (With the 3 characters) I really enjoyed those games, but now I'm confused.

Should I play Ys Oath in Felghana (Ys 3 Remake) or Ys Memories of Celceta (Ys 4 Remake) like Digital Emelas recommended on their list?

It really doesn't matter, only those three are directly connected when it comes to the story. Go with whatever you feel like.

Good to know, so I will play Felghana. Thank you for the comment!

The biggest issue with Celceta is that it's very easy but Oath is quite challenging (and uses the same engine as Origin too)

/me puts Celceta onto the shopping-list and double-checks to make sure Oath isn't in it...

Felghana is similar to Origins, but Felghana is perhaps even more hardcore in terms of difficulty (even though Origins already has a very hardcore difficulty as well). You should play Felghana next.

It would be weird to go from an easy Ys game like Celceta and then back to a hardcore one like Felghana afterwards.

It depends if you choose a different difficulty setting

Origin on Hard is definitely easier than Felghana on Normal. I played the games in the release order and found Origin pretty easy after Felghana, first tried all final bosses as both Yunica/Normal and Hugo/Hard. I'm yet to play as the third character but I heard he's even more OP, so...

Felghana's bosses can be really twitchy and spam attacks with little to no windup and few pauses in between. And some of the late game bosses like a certain boy in a white coat are absolutely overtuned. Still a great game and a must play mind you, but Origin is better designed overall and has a smoother difficulty curve.

P.S. What's up with people adding "s" to the title, it's Origin, not Origins.

Speaking of felghana, I played felghana(psp) on hard and it was my time playing ys game. I was doing fine until I found out there is missable quest if you already beat the worm boss in the mine. The difficulties didnt bother me but I like collecting stuff, that missable quest put me off as I already overwritten the saves.
So far I enjoyed Ys origin I think I am on halfway true the tower with yunica (on easy, I'll increase the difficulty with other char). I think the only down side of this game is the setting limted to one dungeon.

I am planning to buy celceta next if I beat Origin. Is the game has lot stuff to explore or any missable ?

Which quests are missable? I only recall them being in Napishtim and Seven.

As for Origin you can miss some items but they won't forever be locked behind game progression.

Napishtim has many missables.

Oath has 2 missable items (Augite Brooch and Talisman of War).

Nothing in Origin is missable.

I really need to check these out next time I'll play this game.

As for Napishtim, aside from the Emelas accessories from the last minibosses there are no items that are really important.

The quests from Felghana Bring Elena back to the village, the kid back to the castle and the pikkard one are also missable, and if you want all achievements you have to play the game at least twice.
