[Probably Spoiler] How to get a chest without Stone Mask playing Toal?

When you play Yunica or Hugo, you use the mask, "Shadow Bridge" appears and you get the chest.

As I understand, Toal doesn't get the Mask. There is an extra root for him in one of previous locations, where other characters do need to use the mask to get a chest.

But here I don't see any extra root. How to get a chest on the left side?

You mean even if you charge up the spell then repeatedly using it right after?

Yep. Distance is too big.

Can't show what is there because can't get there.When you use the mask, a bridge appears from right to left in the background. On the left is just a small platform with a chest.

It is not necessary to continue the game. I'm just curious and want to get a chest.

I got over there using fire magic and dropping from a higher area iirc but for Toal there wasn't a chest or any items to get.

Fire is Toal's slowfall. Between that and his natural run speed he can clear just about everything without the bridges.

I too am stuck on this same chest, which is before you get Lotusblade. It is in the room with the first time you encounter red spikes as Toal. Normally on Yunica and Hugo you use Eyes of Mask to reveal a path, but with Toal it is not possible to close the gap using the Wind artifact or the fire one.

One before Lotusblade is definitely possible with fire. You clear bigger gaps in Silent Sands with fire even before you get double jump.

EDIT: just reinstalled the game to do it. It's super easy the moment you get charged fire, which IIRC is like...the room after you get fire at all.

Isn't Toal doesn't need the Evil Ring to progress though? And that chest only contains Celcetan elixir iirc, not that useful in the first place. If you want it anyway just Double Jump to near the middle and release the charged Fire then continously pressing Magic key to use Fire consequently after that.

Oh is this about the Silent Sands invisible bridge? The image link above isn't resolving for me so I can't see. Toal can reach that one too. Jump left and fire glide up to the door ledge in the back as a halfway point, then jump off again to get the rest of the way across. It's a bit tricky to slip in with the camera angle not giving great depth, but it's not too hard.

There's nothing there though, they didn't expect you to do it lol.

So the chest I tried to get, was in the fire area, specifically the room Hugo and Yunica need Mask of Eyes to get across the invisible bridge but on Toal playthrough. With Toal, using charged Wind ability and charged Fire ability I was not able to get across.

That was until... I unlocked double jump. Combined with the ability to charge my Fire tornado ability, I double jumped from the edge, the used the fire ability mid air to float. Only 2,000 SP though lol. Its good to know that the Evil Ring jump has no item there, no need to check it out. Im surprised people replied back to this since this is an old thread, cheers!

I was able to get it without double jump as soon as I got the first ruby that lets you charge the fire skill. Charge it up, let go, and hold right.
