[Linux] Not starting
I have tried reinstalling and deleting whole ~/.local/share/Almost Human directory, but for some reason LoG just do not start.

$ steam -applaunch 207170 Running Steam on ubuntu 14.04 64-bit STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
That was useless.

How I can start it so that I can see command line output? if there is any.
Or how to fix this?

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 64bit

Legend of Grimrock won't start for me either any longer. Even had a very knowledgeable Gentoo user go through possible solutions with me. Nothing works. Double clicking it in Steam merely shows a flash of a window being created, then nothing.

All I do is start Steam through the terminal and then select Legend of Grimrock from within Steam. Then I go back to the terminal and see what it says.

Just installed the humblebundle version and tried to run it: same deal.
When running /usr/local/games/Grimrock/Grimrock.bin.x86_64 from the terminal, the output is:
./Grimrock.bin.x86_64: 1: ./Grimrock.bin.x86_64: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

Arch Linux here, same problem.

Edit: nvidia 346.47, GTX970. Probably related.

It does not start for me either.

I just get a "Segmentation fault" in terminal, and then nothing.

This is on Linux Mint 17.1 64bit (So, basically Ubuntu).

Are the people using Ubuntu (and Mint) on the edgers ppa by any chance?


Then again maybe it's a driver problem affecting the GTX 9xx series, since I see there's an Arch user with the same problem.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 64bit (fully updated) with the 346.47 driver installed by hand (from the .run package) on a GTX 660 and the game works.

Anybody with problems should update their drivers to 346.47. As seen in the log above LoG makes use of GL_NV_path_rendering and nVidia applied a crash fix for OpenGL applications using it.
