motion sickness
I love the game, but somehow I'm getting motion sickness while playing it, i've been playing games for 25+ years now and it never happened before, anyone else?

I had this with The Talos Principle where it got way better after I maxed the field of view.

the normal 'tricks' for (trying to) minimise motion sickness: Increase the fov (if possible, turn off head / item bobbing (if available), turn off motion blur, play in 3rd person or switch between 1st & 3rd regularly and of course, shorter sessions.

Another anti-motion sickness technique is to add a "nose" to your game. Usually this looks like a large circle in the middle of the screen. Even a crosshair can help. Some monitors have this feature and it will graphically draw a crosshair or a large circle in the middle of the screen for you.

It's called a reticule, and the game already has one (though it's tiny).

...unless I'm misunderstanding and this something entirely different.
Weirdly the beta test didn't make me feel sick, but the full release has made me motion sick in 20 minutes of playtime.

Me too. I've never gotten motion sickness from a pc or regular console game, only VR. I can't play for more than 20-30 mins at a time on here without feeling like I'm gonna puke. I'll try some of the suggestions others have posted.

Oh god I played the second one for all of ten seconds before I went into the options and turned off the sway when walking / running. It made me nauseous!

It has a small crosshair, but it has to be much bigger for it to be effective in preventing motion sickness.
