Dear SpeedRunners players,

thank you all SO MUCH for playing and supporting the game these past few years. It's been quite a ride, having a game with such an enthousiastic fanbase in Early Access. For sure, the game wouldn't have been as fun as it (hopefully) is right now without all your input!

As a small token of our appreciation for getting the game during this period, you should receive a gift from us when you open up the game.

Spoiler: it's a "beta trail", which shows a green line behind you, similar to the 'BETA r52' tag you were used to having in the top left corner. A neat feature is that it will show the actual version at which you purchased the game - so you can show off to ther players that you were there from the beginning. I know you'll probably miss seeing that BETA tag, so here's a way to get that back ;)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next 2.5 years - we've got a couple of fun updates already planned for you, including improvements to the ranking system. But more on that later! For now, enjoy the 1.0 release!

hahaha to show that number in the trail is fun! BUT it's very hard to really read them ingame, it goes so fast. maybe if the number could be more noticeable?

it might need some refreshing - try restarting steam and/or the game.
Also, I'm not sure if it actually gifts you the item in a popup, or that it's simply there when you go to character/trail select..

hmm as i had the beta build before, i did a cache verify so it got alright. no popup, just a new trail in there with the green thing on it, so it's easy to recognise
